OK, I am going to see which card is actually better, Sneasel or Wigglytuff. I
will do full break down of each card, giving it 1 point for each time it
beats the other in a certain category. It's time to clear this up once and
for all. Let's begin shall we?

WIGGLY vs SNEASEL
The battle of the...well...Pokemon that rely on a full bench??

Part 1: HP

Sneasel's HP: 60
HP is below avergae. Falls weak to Wiggly, Blastoise, and many, many Fire
types. With the popularity of Meganium and Pinsir increasing, he is
definitely one Pokemon Pinsir wouldn't mind KOing with 2 G energy and a PP.
Besides, if you attatch Rainbow energy to him, that drops it to 50. Ouch! HP
isn't bad, but could be much better. 0 points.

Wiggly's HP: 80
Great HP. Can stand most attacks and still have HP left over. Since Hitmonlee
and Hitmonchan are dying out, no need to worry about them. Very good HP. 1
Point.

Score:
Wigglytuff - 1
Sneasel - 0

Part 2: Stage

Sneasel: Basic
Can get him out first turn without fail and do damage right away. No need to
evolve, just slap him down and do damage. Can prove to be very useful during
a match. 1 point.

Wigglytuff: Stage 1
Can get him out by second turn. This can hurt. People tend to want to KO that
Jigglypuff before it can get the chance to evolve. This can really hurt
during a match. It may not prove to be a factor in the beginning of a match,
but in the mid to late game, you'll really wish he was basic. 0 Points.

Score:
Wigglytuff - 1
Sneasel - 1

Part 3: First Attack

Sneasel's First Attack: Fury Swipes. Flip three coins. This attack does ten
damage times the number of heads.
A quite normal first attack, if you have a Darkness energy on him you will
average 20-30 damage on first turn. Although risky, you could combine it with
Pluspowers for first turn kills. Energy requirement low. Good, not great,
first attack. 1 Point.

Wigglytuff's First Attack: Lullaby. The defending Pokemon is now asleep.
Unless you want to stall for time, you will usually NEVER find yourself using
this attack. In a fast deck like Wiggly's, you wont want to use this attack.
You should have Wiggly pumped up by turn 2 so why should you bother? Even
with low energy requirement, don't bother. 0 points.

Score:
Wigglytuff - 1
Sneasel - 2

Part 4: 2nd Attack

Sneasel's 2nd Attack: Beat Up. Flip number of ocins equal to the number of
Pokemon you have in play (including this one). This attack does 20 damage
times the number of heads. Requires 2 darkness energy. Now it gets
interesting. Beat up has the potential of 140 damage if you get all heads and
2 Darkness energy. But you usually will average 40-80 damage per turn.
Altough you gotta flip some coins,  very good second attack if you can get
your bench loaded up in a hurry. 1 Point.

Wigglytuff's 2nd Attack: Do the Wave. Does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for
each of your own benched Pokemon. Requires three colorless energy. Great
attack. Need a DCE and something else to get it up and running by 2nd turn.
Unlike Sneasel, you do not need to flip coins. It's big damage straight up.
Not as much damage, but it is less risky. Also a very good 2nd attack. 1
Point.

Score:
Wigglytuff - 2
Sneasel - 3

Part 5: Weakness

Sneasel's Weakness: NONE! 1 point. Very nice.

Wigglytuff's Weakness: Fighting. Although fighting is not widely used, it's
still an easy target for Gligar. 0 points.

Score:
Wigglytuff - 2
Sneasel - 4

Part 6: Resistance

Sneasel's Resistance: Psychic. Widely used, Especially MP Mewtwo. Good
against Sponge decks. 1 Point for having resistance.

Wigglytuff's Resistance: Psychic. Also good agasint Mewtwo and his comrades.
1 point for having resistance.

Score:
Wigglytuff - 3
Sneasel - 5

Part 7: Retreat Cost

Sneasel's Retreat Cost: 0. This can be very, very useful in a game when you
need to save him from being slaughtered. His low retreat cost backs up his
low HP. Since most Sneasel decks play low energy, this can be very useful.
Very, very good. As if this card wasn't good enough, they gave him 0 retreat.
1 Point.

Wigglytuff's Retreat Cost: 2. This can hurt. When you are in the late game,
and need to retreat from him being killed, you need to discard a DCE or 2 of
any energy. And seeing as most Wigglytuff decks have low energy, this will
hurt. Not very versatile. 0 Points.

Score:
Wigglytuff - 3
Sneasel - 6

That's it. The final score......

                                WIGGLYTUFF: 3
       SNEASEL: 6

The biggest reason Sneasel really won were his awesome bottom stats.
Restiance, no weakness and free retreat? While were at it let's give him 120
HP, and make his first attack do more damage! Sneasel is great and has
probably replaced Wiggly. He is basic, fast, more veratile, no weakness. Very
good card. Wiggly is still very good, but has taken a step off the throne.
Sneasel is the new king.
