Second Turn Damage Puzzle
Whoa, nice thought. I was thinging of another way
to do more, but it would be second turn.
How much damage can you do second turn?
Almost same rules as last time
but I'll post 'em again.
Here's the rules...

-You lost the coin toss; the other player has
already gone.
-You can have up to three "heads" coin flips. The
rest must be tails.
-You may assume anything you want to about the
configuration of your deck and your opponent's deck.
-You may choose your starting Pokemon as well as
your opponent's.
-We're not playing under 15-3c... use up to four of
any card in your deck.

That's the challenge. What can you come up with? I
have the best answer below -- I think. Can you beat
mine?

Solution: You start with Misty's Psyduck, and your
opponent has Blaine's Growlithe as his Active Pokemon.
Your turn, you attach a Rainbow Energy to Misty's Psyduck,
and place a Voltorb on your bench. Next turn, your
opponent evolves into Blaine's Arcanine. Your turn,
evolve into Base Electrode and attach four Misty
trainers and four Pluspowers (you'll need to Oak
a few times). Then, you attack:
flip three heads, which allows you to Metronome
Arcanine's second attack:

Firestorm - Discard 3 R energy cards attached to
Blaine's Arcanine. This attack does 120 damage.
(Im not sure if you would have to discard or not,
since it doesn't say anything about not having to
discard on Psyduck. This way is safe for both.)

Firestorm has 120 Base Damage. The Damage is:

120 [Base] x 2 [Weakness] + 80 [Misty] + 40
[Pluspower] = 340 total damage.

And you thought Clefairy Doll was powerful! (;P) [Editor's Note: Oh, but I am! *wink* ~ Doll]
