(Pokémon Science Lab)
Holy Sock: What the heck is this? First, we get Oak haters, then Scyther
haters, and now we get Cleffa haters. True Cleffa isn't the best card, but
it's still a great card.
Mew Sock: Ok, let's go over his points one-by-one
1-30HP-It's a first turn KO to me. A Hitmonchan, Zapados, Promo Eevee,
Electasbuzz, Ratatta can all KO it with the help of pluspowers on the first
turn. And i bet you would all say "well it has a baby power. That will
keep it alive" To me, it's just like a Haunter's transparency. It's
almost the exact same thing. And remember, the coin flip wil decide too, so if
you think your Cleffa will stay out for the game without evolving it, think
again
Holy Sock: First turn KO? True, BUT ONLY IF THE OTHER PLAYER WAS DESPRATE OR
JUST PLAIN STUPID!!! No one in the right mind would sent out a Cleffa first
turn unless htey needed it, or if it was their only basic, but even then you
will probably have an Oak, CPU Search or anything along those lines
handy. Geez, give the card some of it's good, not all of it's bad point
Mew Sock: Geez, why must you diss Cleffa. Are you jealous that others can use
him right and you assume it's for Eeeeeeeking to death every *censored*ing
turn in a row.
2.-Eeeeeeek- It's an Elm. That's it. sure it's useful against Trappers
but remember- Rocket's Zapdos can knock it out first turn. But if you wern't
facing, and you use Eeeeeeek every turn, it's like saying "Hurry up, so I
can deck myself!". I face quite alot of Cleffa decks and get this- They
all decked themselves since they kept using Eeeeeeek. I even used Cleffa in
one of my decks, and a Hitmonchan just took my Cleffa out using a Pluspower
Holy Sock: Here's is where I get ticked off. You assume someone is going
to be dumb enough to Eeeeeeek till their deck runs dry. As for the decking
part, gee, I thought I did well that time I was one the verge of decking, and
I Eeeeeeeked a HUGE (20 or more cards) hand into my deck and lasted some more
turns. And if cards that deck deck you are bad, guess we can all toss our
Oaks, Erikas, Bills, CPU Searches, etc, and build some crappy Ash Ketchump
deck. Gee and I thought that card drawing really helped, geez, silly me *heavy
sarcasm*! NOT,! Cleffa is actually an Anti-decker. As for the guys who decked
themselves Eeeeeeeking themselves to death, gee, those guys must have been
really bad players who don't know diddlysquat about the game, and don't give
me that "They were Master Trainers" Tauros s***.
Mew Sock: Eeeeeeek is bad because it will deck you? Awwww, are you afraid of
decking? Well, don't blame ya. It's a nasty fear in Pokémon Players that
makes them cut down on card drawers and get prepared on the 30th turn or so,
right. And beside, Cleffa is not a decking device, you idiot! It's meant for
Anti-decking.
3. No Resistance- sure there are good points like no weakness and retreat, but
it's too bad they took out the resistance to Psychic- Now a MP Mewtwo,
Alakazam, Kadabra, Sabrinas Kadabra, etc. could all KO it!
Holy Sock: So what. Not every card has to have a resistance. You could at
least have said good things about the good points and some of the
"bad" points and now focus on all the bad points
Mew Sock: No comment
Holy Sock: All in all, that was a dumb article. Hoped the author learned a
lesson.
Mew Sock: We're signing off
