Okay, I sent this tip already, but the e-mail contained some incorrect
info about recycle energy, so the origional e-mail will probably never
get posted. So here is just the stuff about Blaine's charizard (sorry
if I sound a bit distressed & annoying but i just wanted to make sure my
blaine's charizard tip got posted. Plaease read my other tips)
Most people think all charizards stink.
Being a fan of the char-man i have to speak up (i would have done it
sooner, but i was to lazy, plus i just noticed this section).
blaines char has 2 attacks that, when used right, can either win the
game,
or set you up for one. First, don't waste time evolving, do it in one
turn with a breeder, roaring flames will let you attack for 20 the same
turn for one energy. on your next turn, attach another energy and make
a decision: if
your opponent has a 40 hp pokemon out, knock it out with roaring flames,
if it has 50 or 60, attack it with roaring flames for 40, and don't
attach an energy to it
next turn so you can finish it off with the 20 from your 1 fire left on
him.
This lets you put an energy on a pokemon on your bench. But what about
pokemon with 70 or more hp? Simple, just keep attaching energy and
using jet flame to knock out weak pokemon on his bench or just weaken
him in general. When you get enough energy, unleash roaring flames,
knocking out his active pokemon, and forcing him to send out a pokemon
with 40-less hp. See, char man can be used to take out benched pokemon
while you charge up, and with his resistence to fighting, wigglytuff
decks may want to look into this strategy to fight hitmonchans.
Incedentally, i don't play decks cetered around wiggly, haymakers, etc.
Now, i have one more thing to say about Blaine's Charizard.
The
baby power text states that it only applies when the baby is your ACTIVE
pokemon, so you can use blaine's Charizard to take out babies on your
opponent's bench.
