Hello everybody, I am here today to talk about Brock's pokemon. Brock has
the best pokemon of all the gym trainers. Due, to the fact that he has such
a variety compared to the other gym leaders. Brock has 4 types of Pokemon
Colorless, Fire, Grass and Fighting. Also, his trainer cards are some of the
best, he helps his pokemon and can even help other pokemon. His trainers are
also improvements over there past forms in a Brock's deck, or any deck with
a lot of Brock's pokemon.
So without anymore delay here are some of Brock's Finest.
Colorless type pokemon: Brock's Lickitung 80 Hit points are nice.
20 damage for 2 colorless, and slam flip 2 coins does 30 times the number of
head. So it can do anywhere from 0 to 60 damage. Law of averages gives you
atleast 30 damage each try. Averages can be wrong though. The best part of
this card is it's resistance to psyhic which some of Brock's for weak to.
Fire pokemon: Brock has 2 Vulpix's and 1 Ninetails. First Vuplix level 10
from gym heroes was ac common card and a pretty good one at that. 1 fire for
20 damage is really good. Also you 2 colorless Quick attack between 10 or 30
damage.
Gym Challenge's gave us another Vulpix. 1 colorless puts the defending
pokemon to sleep. For 2 Fire 20 damage plus 10 damage to another pokemon on
the bench. Kind of like Blanie's Growlithe, but you also get 10 damage with
Brock's Vuplix.
Brock's Ninetails- People are saying that it's pokemon power is not as good
now, but I think it is better. Some cards are good, but there pokemon powers
are not the best or cannot also be used. Well now you can use the pokemon
without using the pokemon power. Example Misty's Gyarados or even fossil
Muk.
Brock's Grass pokemon: Wow we have not even got to fighting pokemon which is
Brock's main type. Grass we have 2 Zubats and 1 Golbat.
Brock's Zubat Level 5. Hit points are low at 30, but both attacks are
colorless. For 1 colorless draw a card and switch Zubat with another card,
could really be popular in prop15, free card and another pokemon takes the
damage. Also, 30 resistance to fighting.
Brock's Zubat Level 11. 40 Hit points and 30 resistance to fighting one
colorless 10 damage, for one colorless and a grass 20 damage plus 50% chance
of poison.
Brock's Golbat 70 Hit points. 2 colorless attacks and 30 resistane to
fighting. One colorless 20 damage. Three Colorless 10 damage to all
opponents pokemon.
Now it is tine for Brock's Fighitng pokemon:
Brock's pokemon and the right Brock's trainer could spell doom to the rest
of the pokemon world. Most wanted Scyther and Rocket Zapdos.
Brock's Onix- 100 Hit points. 2 Fighitng and a colorless 30 damage.
Brock's Ryhorn Level 25- 2 colorless 20 damage and your oppent has to choose
another pokemon from his bench. Take down 2 Fighitng 1 colorless 10 damage
to Ryhorn does 40 damage to you defending pokemon. Wigglytuff killer.
Brock's Rhydon- It's attack is risk, but easy to power up 2 fighitng and 2
colorless. It's pokemon power makes it a good bench protector, and stops
bench desturtion decks. Cause rhydon can take all damage dealt to benched
pokemon. Ryhorn takes the damage pokemon center it and bye damage.
Brocks's Diglett- First attack is risk and second attack does damage to all
your bench, Brock's Rhydon or Brock's trainer can help that a lot.
Brocks's Dugtrio- First attack is for defense and you have to use it to do
it's second attack. 30 resistance to lighting helps though.
Brock's Sandshrew 2 to choose from hit points is the major difference.
Brock's Sandslash from gym challenge is problaly one of the best cards in
the set. 70 Hit points 30 resistance to lighting. One Fighitng and a
colorless Swift always 20 damage, gets around resistance plus pokemon
powers. Could prove very useful against Rocket Zapodos or even Scyther. It's
other attack does 30 damage and 50% chance of poison for 2 Fighitng energy.
Prety nice attacks, fighting type pokemon with a poison attack.
Brock's Mankey the best one is at Level 12. 40 hit points it's secong attack
for 1 colorless and a fighting can do up to 40 damage if Mankey has no
damage counters on him. Then it is minus 10 for each damage counter. Potions
will help keep this pokemon's attack at 40 a turn.
Brock's Primeape- It's pokemon power could help it fit well in a swap deck.
It's attack can be very useful. It does 60 damage for 3 Fighitng, but it
does do 20 damage to Brock's Primeape. Also, this attack means you get to
discard any stadium card in play. Could go nice in an anti-studium card
deck.
Well this wraps up some of Brock's Finest Pokemon. Tune in next time as I go
over some of Brock's trainers. I know I left out some of Brock's pokemon,
but there was just to many, ao I decide to go over what I consider the top.
Well, I am sure some people will disagree with my choices, but that is your
right.
