me: I MISSED THE MALL TOUR!!! I've been taking it rather well. My brother,
however, is suspiciously silent. I think he's committed hari-kari (sp?).
    Anyway? What was I talking about. Oh, yeah. Prop 15 and 3C. Now, unless
you've been locked in a  house owned by CBS and been under camera
surveillance for the past 90 days, you'll know that WIzards has passed new
rules for DCI tournaments: each deck must have a limit of 15 Trainers, and a
limit of 3 of a single card, except for Basic Energy. The reason? Get rid of
Haymakers and other speed-related Archetypes.
    This is stupid. It's like trying to give a person a free NRA membership.
As a condolensce gift. Because their cousin was killed in a drive-by. They
think they can shut down Haymakers by shutting down their Trainers and other
cards, right? WRONG. Here's a good way to get BOTH a Haymaker and a Wiggly
deck around the limit.

    Now, here's the TRUE way to do mass Haymaker shutdown.
KEY PART OF HAYMAKERS #1: TRAINERS 
Some Haymakers would be lost without Oaks, Scoop Ups, and other goodies. So,
in goes Dark Vileplume.
KEY PART OF HAYMAKERS #2: SPEED
Haymaker Pokemon's retreat NEVER goes past 2. Dark Muk will help here!
Suddenly, the big Tuff and Hitmonchan have as much retreat as a Snorlax(4)!
Electabuzz has 3 retreat, and Scyther's loaded down with 2. And, since we
have Dark Vileplume, not a single Scoop Up can be played!
KEY PART OF HAYMAKERS #3: LOW ENERGY COSTS
Yes. Even though we've trapped their heavy hitters, they can still kick our
@$$. Why? FIRST TURN ATTACKS. And, since we can't play any Trainers with Dark
Vileplume, here's our solution: DRAGONAIR! Hyper Beam can take away Energy
from them, and you can them take them out.

Hitmonchan, Electabuzz, Scyther, Fossil Magmar, MP Mewtwo, and Lapras).
