Hi Pojoland! I saw this article about these made up cards by this Chad guy. I thought that was pretty cool. In my spare time, thats what I like to do. Except I make the same cards only with different attacks. So far, I've made my first set: NV. It's sounds like a lame name; it stands for envy. I'm working on the Elite Four and the new Gym Leaders of Johto. I'll post my top five cards. BTW, if anyone wants to hear about my sets, my E-mail is: venusaur500@hotmail.com
Legend: G=Grass R=Fire W=Water P=Psychic L=Lightning F=Fighting C=Colorless
Top 5 from NV
NV Charizard 100 HP Stage 1 R Pokemon-Weakness: W-Resistance: F-Retreat cost: CCC
[Dragon Call] When NV Charizard is put into play, you may search your deck for up to 2 Basic Pokemon and/or Evolution cards with Charmander, Charmeleon or Charizard in their names. Shuffle your deck afterward. This power can't be used if NV Charizard is Asleep, Confused or Paralyzed.
RRR Fire Blast Flip 2 coins. If both are heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed. If both are tails, this attack does nothing. 70
NV Mewtwo 70 HP Basic P Pokemon-Weakness: P-Resistance: -Retreat cost: CC
[Psychic Control] Once during your turn (before your attack), you may use this power. Look at your opponent’s hand. If there is a Trainer card there, flip a coin. If heads, your opponent shuffles that card back into his or her deck. This power can’t be used if NV Mewtwo is Asleep, Confused or Paralyzed.
PPP Telekinesis Choose 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. This attack does 30 damage to it. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon)
NV Moltres 90 HP Basic R Pokemon-Weakness: -Resistance: F-Retreat cost: CCC
RR Burst of Flame Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed. 20
RRRR Spiral Dive Flip 4 coins. This attack does 30 damage times the number of heads. Then, NV Moltres does 20 damage times the number of tails to itself. 30x
NV Venomoth 70 HP Stage 1 G Pokemon-Weakness: R-Resistance: F-Retreat cost:
[Poisonous Powder] Whenever your active Pokemon does damage to the Defending Pokemon, flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned. This power can’t be used if NV Venomoth is Asleep, Confused of Paralyzed.
GP Super Confusion The Defending Pokemon is now Confused. Flip 2 coins. If 1 or both are tails, NV Venomoth is now Confused. 30
NV Venusaur 100 HP Stage 2 G Pokemon-Weakness: R-Resistance: -Retreat cost: CC
[Item Search] Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, search your deck for a trainer card and put it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards. This power can’t be used if NV Venusaur is Asleep, Confused or Paralyzed.
GGG Solar Beam After your next turn, this attack does 70 damage. (If NV Venusaur is moved out of the active position or is normally unable to do damage due to an effect of your opponent’s Pokemon’s attacks, this attack's effect does nothing.) NV Venusaur can't attack next turn.
And there you have it! Those are my top 5 from NV. However, these cards not in order from best to worst. Again, Questions or Comments go to: venusaur5000@hotmail.com
