Hey Pojo and fans, DJ here with tips on the three Blaine's Quizzes.
Ok, Blaine's Quiz #1 is an annoying one to go against. Many people
don't
study the lebgths of pokemon. I suggest using this one in a deck with lots
of different pokemon. Pokemon that have feet as well as inches are better,
they make guessing harder. Over time, this card could become less useful
if
players become real used to knowing heights of pokemon. These players can
control whether they get the answer(and the 2 cards) or if you do. This
isn't the case with the 2nd quiz though.
Blaine's Quiz #2 will always give a 1 in 3 chance of correctness to your
opponent. Opponents should have no control over the answer, thus leaving
this quiz a game of chance, this is a quiz opponents can't study for. So
if
3:1 are good odds for you, try this one.
Blaine's Quiz # 3 is great for a Water Gun, Tackle, or Quick Attack deck.
Many Pokemon have attacks with these names, so you will have favorable odds
if you want 3 cards. However, if you say "Fire spin", your
opponent
probably say Charizard and get themself 3 cards. This would also help if
an
expansion has just come out, and players don't know the american names of
attacks.
In summary, the 1st one is probably the best for now if you want to draw
cards, but over time, it may easily fade in favor of the other 2. The
second
one is the most consistent one, and the third is best in the right
situations. In the long run, I feel that the 2nd is the best, you can have
any card in your hand, not only a pokemon.
Others may feel differently, but these are only my opinions that I posted in
hopes of helping other players. I hope this helps. If you have
comments of
any kind, send them to DJKOS733@AOL.com
and I will read them as soon as
possible. Until next time, this is DJ signing off
