Sigh, I must admit Blastoise is a good card, if not played as an archetype. Here's a combo that utilizes its power.

(You thought when I said "SER" in the title, I meant "Super Energy Removal, didn't you?)Here's the deal: load Dark Gyardos up with water energy.  Let your opponent KO Dark Gyardos. On a heads coin flip, mega damage. On a tails coin flip, nothing. Either way, you can use multiple Super/regular Energy Retrieval to get the energy back. Use a special strategy to get at least half the energy back at practically no cost:

The only cost to you is 1 card if you use Misty's Tears (To get rid of that, when you first start the combo, save 2 waters in your hand), your hand if you use Oak (Try to use Oak before you're even ready to start the combo if you're going to use him), and 2 cards if you use CPU Search (same thing to do here as to do with Oak). It's a costly mega-combo, but if you can pull it off, your opponent will throw all their cards away and start crying uncontrollably.
