Hello. This is my
first post, so I hope this hasn't been brought up before. Picture
this: Chansey is your active pokemon with one metal, one DC, and one
recycle (or whatever you use), and a gold berry. You use Double-Edge and
pop out 70 damage and 60 to yourself (metal, isn't it great!!). If you are
fighting against Pokemon who can only deal out 50 or less damage, save your gold
berry for now. Next turn use Blissey and with a lucky flip of heads you
now have 0 damage on Chansey, and even if you flip tails Chansey will only have
20 damage. Now for the strategy: Use Hyper Devolution Spray to put
Blissey back into your hand, and then double edge again for 70 damage. Use
the gold berry between turns and now Chansey (if you flipped tails with
Blissey earlier) now has only 40 damage (20 if you got heads when you
played Blissey), and has dealt out 140 damage in two turns without discarding
energy. Next turn Blissey and gold berry again. See where I am going
with this? Item Finders are very helpful with this combo. This
strategy has helped me win several games at the local Pokemon Gym, but may not
work in all environments (I use Scyther to combat fighting types due to
Chansey's weakness). I know there are ways around beating this, but
that is true for all strategies. One thing for sure is the little
Igglybuff can't harm Blissey's Pokemon Power because Blissey is usually in your
hand when it's your opponent's turn. Anyway, hope this helps somebody out
there.
