Before making dissuasions like these All ways look threw your discard pile. Some times you wana put a scyther in your deck caus it'll defeat hitmonchans. But wait maybe nobody plays hitmonchan in your league. "Look before you leap" is one of the rules of pokemon. You need to know quite a few things to play good poke'mon probability, add subtract etc. But if you just look at a deck on line and change it in to a deck with 2 magby instead of 1 because your afraid one will get knocked out. Your afraid that Magnium will defeat pilswine if you use him. Well guess what if no body plays magnium in your league who cares. Don't believe every thing you hear online. Don't play decks you see online and try to play them like Rudy Rodreiguz jack savage or ness. Try to play your own style under stands the do and dont's of poke'mon so people still play old fashioned decks like Gumbo that's Gumbo's style of play. My style of play is not really up to date but not real old. Ness like's to use lot's of poke'mon really little energy and lot's of trainers, there for he relies on the probability of geting energy for the poke'mon is usually not in his favor but guess what he has ways to slow his opponents down until he gets the right energy. If you look at Jack Savage at the first s.t.s. he had a good deck probably not the best or the worst but he has playing skills like you would not believe there for he does not relay on the cards to do the job for him but for him to work the cards himself. Rudy Rodreiguz knows agsactley what he is doing if you look at w.o.t.c.'s second s.t.s. results he did awesome he is a great deck builder and also has the skills to back it up to. So if you copy decks of the internet than take a look at the deck Idea first and than only than can you see how it works. Try your own resabpee for decks like a neo 2 kabutops and koga's weazig. Read tom's articles ness's card of the day and monkey's lictures and you have the resapie for success. Also if you want to go beyond your mortal limits try looking at other card games like magic and Magi-nation and get Idea's.
