I've looked over this deck about 82 times already, scanning it from head to
toe.
AND I STILL DON'T GET HOW IT MANAGES TO WORK!!
To demonstrate my point, lemme take a look at this "Potpurri" deck in
my
usual "Breakdown" fashion.
"Haymaker Potpurri", the infamous deck created by Ryan Truong (this
line
added so as to avoid legal entanglements and other forms of griping)
<editor's note: Actually, you're gonna get griping from me if you
give Ryan credit for the deck. Ryan took the deck from me (WOO HOO!
You go!), but it's not like I didn't present it for everyone to see. I'm
actually gonna respond to this article, so it'll be right below yours.

Breakdown of Energy:
7 Fighting
6 Lighting
6 Psychic
3 Double Colorless
Total Energy: 22
A little small for my tastes..
Comments: This is EXACTLY what gets me. How the heck does this deck work
with 6-7 of each color energy!? That's cutting it a little too close for my
taste!
Breakdown of Pokemon:
3 Hitmonchan
3 Electabuzz
3 Mr. Mime
3 Scyther
1 Kangaskhan
1 Ponyta
Total Pokemon: 14
Well, that I can understand at least.
Comments: Aside from my immediate response of "What's with the
horse?",
nothing much. *still can't see what's so great about Fetch, since it wastes
a turn for 1 measly card. I'd MUCH rather use Comet Punch!*
Breakdown of Trainers:
3 Bill
3 Professor Oak
3 Gust of Wind
3 Super Energy Removal
2 Energy Removal
2 Plus Power
2 Energy Retrieval
2 Item Finder
2 Scoop Up
1 Computer Search
1 Lass
Total Trainers: 24
Wow......that's a lot.
Comments: I can see a lot in here that he could live without, like
PlusPower (I mean, Scyther/Buzz/Chan do MORE than enough damage as is!) ,
Energy Retrieval, and Lass. Personally, I'd drop them for a little more
energy.
ALL IN ALL: How does this deck work on such a small amount of each type of
energy?
