I am writing mostly to Satoshi but I did not send this to
him because I
really think that everyone needs to hear.
Now first off, the new prop15 is not that bad. Yes I
know that it has
impacted the game alot but long before I found the Pojo I myself was making a
crappy 11 trainer Wizards of the coast reccomended deck. Now while the
deck
worked to some degree (all the kids in my area had the same type of deck) I
almost laughed aloud when I picked up my first issue of Pojo's Unofficial
Pokemon: News and Price Guide Monthly and there in the Deck Garage section
all of the decks had around 23 of 24 trainers. Well, as time went by I
decided to try decks with more trainers and found out they worked 3,000 times
better!!! And now we have gone back to the crappy 11 trainer Wizards of
The
Coast recomended deck.
I'll admit that it has impacted the game, and I'll also admit
that I was
at first a pro Prop 15er. But I think that it has added a new element of
fun
to the game. Now, look at blastoise, he is a stage 2 and even though he
relys on alot of trainers he will probably still be found in the tourney
environment.
The fact that trainers have been restricted does not mean
that you
nesessarily have a disadvantage, it merely means that you and your opponent
will take a little longer to get going.
I'll tell you what, why don't you make a Dark Vileplume Deck
and really
put the opponent at a disadvantage? I've tryed it before and it seems to
work quite well for me. I'm not trying to smart off, but you and your
opponenent are at the same disadvantage. Simply put, you and your oppenent
are both going to have to wait 'till turn three or four before you can slap
down your wiggly and a DCE. That is just the way it is gonna be and there
is
nothing that you or I can do to change it.
Well, I think that about covers everything that I wanted to
say so I
guess that I'm signing off.
