Dear Pojo,
I would like to talk about a way overlooked card. What is it? Persian. Before
I explain, it's Pojo who got me to be a great trainer and know what the
bad/good sides of cards, through his fantastic web site.

Persian    70 HP    Colorless
CC:Scratch 20
CCC:Pounce 30
When your opponent's pokemon uses an attack, reduce that attack by 10.(after
applying weakness and resistance)
Weakness:F      Resistance:P -30       Retreat Cost:----

This card just says "I yawn at Movie Promo Mewtwo". The Resistance, plus
Pounce, just steps on Psychic. Psychic could've been unpopular a long time
ago if this classy cat was played sooner, but still isn't. Out of all the
five Archetypes(Hay Fever, Rain Dance, Haymaker, Damage Swap, and TuffStuff
especially), this cat could've been great in all of them. Rain Dance says,
"He's not Water", Haymaker says, "He evolves", Damage Swap says "He's not
GREAT at stalling", Tuffstuff says "I don't know, and Hay Fever says,
"Errrr...." Hay Fever can use Persian to get Mewtwo kicked, Wiggly can shut
down stall, Rain Dance could be interesting, Haymaker COULD actually be fun,
and Rain Dance can have a chance versus buzz.

Plus, he has a free retreat, and he evolves from a great feline,
Meowth(JUNGLE!) Meowth can get you cards and do damage, and has 50 HP to
boot. Dark Persian is bad, and after playing Meowth(TR), it wasn't that bad,
but wasn't the ultimate, best card. Team Rocket's Meowth is the opposite of
Wiggly, but doesn't evolve anyway.

Overall, Persian should be played. Only fears to Persian is Dark Kadabra,
Dark Alakazam, and Sabrina's Alakazam(included in the Sabrina deck! YES!) Oh
yeah, and Sabrina's Kadabra's attack, Life Drain.

Comboed with Defender, not even Sabrina's Alakazam's 60 damage brakes the
hook. Preventing up to 60, or with another defender, protecting 80 HP, thats
a show stopper even for Sabrina's Kadabra.

Now, what do you think? Great Card? Yes! It is! Lets go play with Persian
now, and show Mewtwo What,Where, and Why.
