Hey! Nite Owl here. For this article, I have something that is sort of a
tip. Actually, it's bringing new uses to old cards.
Hoothoot: Hey, Nite Owl!
Nite Owl: Aah! Hoothoot! Don't scare me like that!
Hoothoot: Sorry.
Nite Owl: Where's your big brother, anyway?
Hoothoot: Noctowl? I don't know. Some Miltank used Attract on him, and now
he just follows her around.
Nite Owl: Well, uh... Go find him.
Hoothoot: Ok.
Hoothoot flies off...
Hoothoot: I'm back!
Nite Owl: Already?
Hoothoot: Yep.
Nite Owl: Well, um...
. How about you go find
a Yetti for me, Hoothoot?
Hoothoot: Okay.
Nite Owl: NOW, the tip
: Pokedex.
You: What
?!? I read all this, and now you tell me it's POKEDEX?!? That's
one of the worst cards in the game! Or did you mean New Pokedex? That, that's
allright
.
Nite Owl: Well, New Pokedex could work, but I'm mainly talking
about the old one.
You: Boooooo
!
Nite Owl: Wait
! Hear me out! This will
especially be good with Neo 3's Entei. Fervor is what it's for right now,
though. Use Pokedex (or, I geuss you could use New--
Hoothoot: Hey! I brought you the yetti you wanted. Isn't he cute?
Bigfoot: Roooaaarrrrr!
Nite Owl: This is getting out of hand
! Security!
An Arcanine from Brooklyn runs out in front of Nite Owl's
tree...
Arcanine: What's the matta, Tiny?
Nite Owl: Arcanine--
Arcanine: That's "Acanine" to you.
Nite Owl: Acanine, how many times do I have ta tell ya; my name ain't Tiny.
(To the readers, I have to speak in a way that he understands)
Arcanine: Whateva ya say, Tiny.
Nite Owl: Fugetaboutit. Just put a contract on da big yetti thing in front
of ya.
Arcanine: Whateva ya say, Tiny.
Arcanine takes out a Tommy...
Nite Owl: Acanine! No! Da kids, think about da kids!
Arcanine: Oh. Right.
Arcanine puts away the Tommy and unleashes a powerful
Firestorm...
Bigfoot: AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUGGGGGHH
! It burns! It
burns!
WHUMPF!
Bigfoot collapses...
Nite Owl: Thank ya, Acanine.
Arcanine: Don mention it, Tiny.
Arcanine gallops of into the distance...
Nite Owl: Finally. Let me finish my tip. Use a Pokedex, new or old, to look
at the top 5 cards of your deck. If there are 3 or more fire energy, go
ahead and fervor. If there are 2 or less, don't. Same thing goes for
Entei's power: use pokedex, if it's worth it, Howl, if it's not, don't. By the
way, don't tell anyone I said this, but it can help algatrFeri. Gee,
who am I talking about? It is definitely not Feraligatr
. When using the
Sweep Away Croconaw, use Pokedex. If there are 3 or more water
energies, Sweep away. It will help pave the way for algatrFeri. If
there are 2 or less, Tackle. Oh, forgive me! I just helped an archetype.
Nooooooo
!!!
You: I'm leaving...
Nite Owl: No, I feel so bad about all the rigmarole that I'm gonna' give
you some extra stuff
.
You: Just make it quick...
Nite Owl: How about some--
Hoothoot: Can I do this? Can I? Huh? Huh? Can I?
Nite Owl: Well, uh... How about you go find me... Nessie, the
Lock-Ness Monster
.
Hoothoot: Okay
.
Nite Owl: Now, some owl facts!
You: That's it, I am leaving for real...
Nite Owl: Please bear with me...
- Because the cervial vertebrae in its neck glide over each other so
smoothly, an owl can turn its head a full 270 degrees! Exorcist!
- An owl's feathers are arguably the softest of any bird. Because of
this softness and there smooth texture, when an owl flies, it makes no sound.
- An owl's strongest sense is actually sound, not sight.
- All owls are nearly invisible. They are color-coded to ther
environment. Horned owls' mottled brown feathers blend perfectly with the woods
they live in. Snowy owls are as white as their snowy homes. The reason for this
camouflge is all nocturnal animals usually have great nightvision. Stalking is
one of the owl's best qualities.
Nite Owl: In short, owls rock.
