HJ: Unown D quadrant, sir.
CNO: The R.I.O.T.T.?
SICH: Sensors aren't picking it up... It must still be in the Unown A
quadrant.
CEN: Captain, I was able to analyze the structure of it. There must be some
mistake.
CNO: Put it on-screen.
CEN: Aye, sir.

CEN: Obviously the builder knew how to play!
CNO: It will be easy to beat!
SICH: Not really, sir. It has great power...
CNO: SICH, CEN, and M, figure out a way to beat it.
CEN: But that coul take months, sir.
CNO: Just do--
HJ: Captain, look!
CNO: Wh-wh-what is that?
SICH: It's beautiful!
HJ: And it's coming this way!!!
What is this strange new entity? Will the U.S.S. Strategize ever be able to
find out how to beat the R.I.O.T.T.? Wait for a latter article to find
out!
Hey, people! What do you think about Card Trek? If you don't like it, don't
worry, not all of my articles will have it. If you do like it, don't worry, I
plan to do as many Card Trek things as there are Star Trek movies with Kirk in
them (6). Now for some more deck ideas.
I've decidd a good deck would be something never used before. Now, this
deck requires master-level playing, but if played so, it would be invincible.
Here's the thought: Put 'em back. This is what I mean:
Erika's Dragonair
Dark Machamp
Pidgeot (+Aerodactyl)
Sabrina's Gengar (Call of the Night)
Get the picture? The purpose here is to make it so your opponent has no
pokemon, and you win. Now, of course their pokemon are going back in their
decks, so you want to be careful not to deck yourself while you're "filling 'em
up". And, there's Cleffa. So you need some defenses.
Bench hitters-My personal favorite is Umbreon (Feint Attack). Cleffa's
active. Phoot. But, wait! Use gust, send out something that can't hurt Umbreon
too badly (it doesn't matter if they can retreat or not), then hit Cleffa for 30
on the bench. Unfortunately, Umbreon is sort of hard to power up. Fortunately,
this trick works with others like Hitmonlee, it's just not a 1-hit KO.
I still haven't developed the deck very much yet, but I still offer you the
idea.
Now, another one which is even harder to play is this: Poof! This one is
similar to "Put 'em back", and even has E's Dragonair (it's a double agent)
also. But it is slightly different:
E's Dragonair
Sabrina's Gastly (Fade Out)
EEEEEERRTTT! Hey! I just now thought of something! This could be a hybrid
deck! 1/2 Put 'em back (E's Dragonair, S's Gengar) and while you're doing that,
you could also have it 1/2 Poof! (E's Dragonair, S's Gastly). I wonder if this
could work... now, back to the regularly scheduled list:
Rocket Abra
M's Gyardos
B's Moltres
Promo Movie Entei
Note: I hope you've already realized that a deck consisting of all of these
could not function; too many different energy types. Just take what you
want.
So, these are my two deck ideas. Hope you like them. By the way, I give
people CHALLENGING deck ideas, not deck ideas that I'm TOLD are good.
Well, speaking of Entei, what do you guys think about Neo 3? Pretty cool,
huh? Here are some notable powers/attacks of some cards (translations may
vary):
Chinchou has 2 attacks; 1 for 1 lightning, 1 for 1 water.
Lightning (10): Flip a coin. If heads this attack does 10 more
damage.
Water (10): All damage done to Chinchou during your opponent's next turn is
reduced by 10.
Lanturn has a cool Pokemon Power:
Fountain: Once during your turn, you may change Lanturn's type to
water.
Sudowoodo's getting much better with this Pokemon Power:
Mimic: While Sudowoodo is your active pokemon, Sudowoodo has a copy of all
the defending pokemon's attacks.
Feraligatr will run away with his tail between his legs when he hears about
Parasect's Pokemon Power:
Allergy Pollen: Cards in either player's dicard pile are not affected by
attacks, trainers, or any other effect. (This means Feraligatr doesn't shuffle
the water back into the deck; he'll be all washed up before long)
Oh, and have you heard about Suikune's Crystal Body Pokemon Power?
All effects, other than damage, done to Suikune by attacks are
prevented.
Entei's Pokemon Power makes him a Fervor in disguise:
Howl: When Entei is played from your hand, you may discard the top 5 cards
from your deck. If you do, and if any are fire energy cards, attach the fire
energy cards to any of your fire-type pokemon in any order you
like.
Again, translations may vary. But, it looks like Neo 3 is going to be one
big ball of fun!
