Before you say

Before you say "Oh, this is about Base Set 2, I'm not gonna read" just hear me out and read the article. This is my first time posting a tip, but i'll give it a whirl. Base Set 2, many people hate it, because it combined Base Set with Jungle, to make 1 expansion. People think Hasbro, or whoever is greedy because they combined 2 sets to make 1. Base Set 2 is a great thing for players, you all are probably saying "What is this guy on?" Well, let's see here, Base was the best Expansion, it gave us Alakazam, Hitmonchan, Electabuzz, Blastoise, Bill, Oak, PC Search, Item Finder, The Almighty Charizard, (Note the sarcasm) and many others. This was by far the best expansion for players. Then we had Jungle, it gave us the power of Scyther, and Wigglytuff. Wigglytuff and Scyther are right now 2 of, if not the best, cards in the Pokemon TCG. Fossil didn't give us much they Gave Rain Dance a boost with Articuno and Lapras, but not much else. Then came Team rocket, again, nothing much. BUT it gave the players Rocket's Sneak Attack, 1 of the best, most used cards. So you see, Hasbro or Wizards or whatever, they did players a favor by combining Base and Jungle. If you're condidering starting the Pokemon TCG, all you need is about 2 or 3 Boxes of Base Set 2. You can trade those worthless Charizard's for cards like Lapras, Rocket's Sneak attack and any others you might need. All in all, I don't know why people bash Base Set 2. It's really a great set.
