You know, Wizards hasn't banned the Trapper Deck and I'm really tired of losing to the thing.  But I recently found its weakness.  In fact, most Decks have this same problem: A dependence on Trainers.  OK, so it's not really a problem but without the Trainers, all that Trapper really is is a really slow Haymaker.  Solution: Turn One Lass.  The Trapper is completely dependent on Impostor Oak's Revenge, RSA, and Trap.  If it can't execute those 3 Trainers in that order on turn one, then it's just a Haymaker.  Lass is the key.  I've actually seen quite a few Decks use that strategy, but eventually, the opponent will recover by drawing an Oak or something.  That's where Moltres comes in.  By putting away the cards that are essential to their Deck, then discarding them, you put your opponent into a very painful position.  We obviously need Moltres, but he can't do the job by himself.  Since we're playing fire, then we'll definitely want Magmar (fossil).  Also, Chansey has the ability to take mad hits while you stall for your own combo.  Kangaskhan also works under a faster environment.  Lastly is Erika's Dratini.  Trapper does not run evolution's, so watching Electabuzz only doing 10 damage to this tiny little Dragon is helpful.

3 Moltres
3 (F) Magmar
2 Erika's Dratini
2 Chansey

4 Bill
4 Computer Search
3 Item Finder
3 Lass
3 Pokemon Center
3 Scoop Up
2 Energy Retrieval
2 No Removal Gym
2 Small Gym
2 Nightly Garbage Run
2 Gust of Wind

14 Fire
4 Double Colorless

There we go.  In case you're wondering why there are no Oak's, this Deck runs heavy searching instead.   If Trapper is popular in your area, give this Deck a try
