I have a question for all of you players who use Lt. Surge. Did you know about a little common card called Switch? Let's compare the two.
 
    Lt. Surge                                        Switch
    Put a basic                                     Switch
    from your                                     your active
    hand as                                        Pokémon
    your new                                      with one of
    Active                                          your benched
    Pokémon.                                      Pokémon.
    (you can't
    play this
    card if
    your bench
    is full.)
 
You actually can use Switch to do the same thing as Surge (by laying down the basic then switching), but Surge can't swap benched Pokémon like Switch can. Plus, swith is a common, and I think Switch looks ten times cooler. The only advantage of Surge is that you can use it in modified.
