I'm
officially back in the metagame. I return with a fix for
a competetive player.
These fixes are made assuming you have either NB or the
ability to breed for natures/IVs and EV Train, which you
obviously do. Enjoy.
Charizard @ Leftovers (M)
Blaze
Mild
EVs 40 atk, 244 spd, 224 sa
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power Grass
I prefer either a Belly
Drum or strait up sweeper set because Zard isnt' that
great at subpunching. BellyDrum/HP:Flying/Overheat/Earthquake@Salac/Leftovers
is a good Drumming set. Sub/Rock Slide/HP:Flying/Swords
Dance@Leftovers is a pretty good sweeping set. Either
way, I'd max speed and dump EVs into Attack and maybe a
little in Defense. If you choose to run the belly drum
set, try to predict a switch and use belly drum then. If
you're using salac, sub on the switch and then drum to
activate Salac. The Sweeping set is pretty straitforward,
so I don't see a need to explain.
Nidoking @ Choice Band (M)
Poison Point
Jolly
EVs 4 hp, 252 atk, 252 spd
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
- Rock Slide
- Sludge Bomb
There's really nothing
wrong with this set.
Venusaur @ Leftovers (M)
Overgrow
Modest
EVs 76 hp, 96 def, 24 spd, 216 sa, 96 sd
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed
- Razor Leaf
- Hidden Power Ice
Venusaur is better as a
tank, but this set can work. Possibly try making Hidden
Power into grass and using Sludge Bomb, taking some of
the SA evs and putting them into attack.
Snorlax @ Leftovers (M)
Thick Fat
Adamant
Evs 96 hp, 220 atk, 56 def, 136 sd
- Curse
- Return
- Rest
- Shadow Ball
Standard curselax.
Blastoise @ Leftovers (M)
Torrent
Bold
Evs 212 hp, 136 def, 104 sa, 56 sd
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Rest
- Surf
I don't have alot of
experience with Blastouse, but I'd say drop Rest for
something better, since you don't have a Heal Beller. I
see that it's what Smogon says, but it's based on the
assumption that you have Vileplume or something to
support it. Possibly Refresh or Mirror Coat.
Gengar @ Leftovers (M)
Levitate
Timid
Evs 108 hp, 80 def, 184 spd, 136 sd
- Perish Song
- Mean Look
- Hypnosis
- Protect
The Mean Look/Perish Song Combination doesn't work very
well because they'll just Kill Gengar and switch. Try
Sub/Focus Punch/Ice Punch/Thunderbolt.
Overall, you have a very solid team. You shouldn't have
many problems at all.
