Introduction to Marmalade Boy

One day Miki is sitting in her room writing a note to her friend, the note is telling her friend Meiko about how she wishes her life was more exciting. Well, in a few minutes her wish came true, but it probably wasn't what she was hoping for. Miki's parents sit her down and tell her that they are thinking of getting a divorce; Miki can't believe it. It only gets weirder, though, while her parents were on their trip to Hawaii they met another couple and fell in love with them. Miki's parents are going to make a partner swith with the Matsura's, the other couple they met on the trip. Miki knew her parents were weird, but now this weird. Can any good come out of this situation? Actually there can, the Matsrua's have a son named Yuu who Miki thinks is super cute. On top of all this, Miki finds out that the two families are going to be living with each other. So, everything seems ok, right? Well, not quite, Yuu's old girlfrind shows up and Miki finds out the Ginta is in love with her. The only question that can be asked now is, who will end up with who?

My Thoughts on the Anime

I haven't watched this whole anime, yet, but I sure do like it a lot. This anime would be characterized as a melodrama shoujo anime, a sort of soap opera type show. Don't let this turn you away from it, however. I am a guy and I still find it to be a great anime and I recommend it. --------------------------------------------------------
