Hello Pojo Fans,
Another day, another Azamina Fusion Monster: Azamina Mu Rcielago is today’s featured card.
Same requirements as Silvia: Illusion Monster, LIGHT Spellcaster monster (White Forest archetype), Level 6 that is the other popular choice for Hallowed Azamina. Dropping the opponent’s monster’s ATK/DEF by 500 for each Azamina you control guarantees a drop of 500 at the very least. You could have two Fusion Azamina monsters on the field at the same time, using Hallowed Azamina twice in the turn, or summoning the Fusion Monster through other means. Two Main Deck Azamina monsters are coming in Supreme Darkness, so you could have up to four different ones on the field to drop the opponent’s monsters 2000ATK/DEF. With 2000ATK, that 500ATK/DEF drop does allow Mu Rcielago to hold her own against many monsters in the game. For the bigger boss monsters you’ll need another Azamina monster alongside Mu Rcielago, but the ATK/DEF drop is a lot easier in this archetype to get the most out of than others.
When Fusion Summoned Mu Rcielago is a RoTA for Azamina or Sinful Spoils cards, paying you back for Hallowed Azamina or getting you whichever Sinful Spoils card you need. Seven choices of Spell/Trap Cards currently in the TCG, with a few more to come after the new year and the release of Supreme Darkness. Much like Silvia, Mu Rcielago gets you to whatever you need in that situation. When destroyed, Mu Rcielago gives you another card to pay for itself
Mu Rcielago may not have negation like Ilia Silvia, but they can get you a search without having to be destroyed. The ATK/DEF drop helps with their lower ATK, she pays you back upon destruction, and when Fusion Summoned, ensuring you are not left without something to bounce back with. It all goes back to Hallowed Azamina though and how you can play that twice in a turn if you have the Sinful Spoils to spend, getting both of the Fusion Monsters we’ve covered so far to play off each other.

The second of three Azamina Fusions, and the one you’ll likely summon first to combo off, is Azamina Mu Rcielago.
Rcielago is a Level 6 DARK Illusion Fusion with 2000 ATK and 2400 DEF. Stats are an improvement from yesterday, and it’s still a DARK/Illusion. Fusion Materials are the same as yesterday as well, which becomes more relevant with more support. All your opponent’s monsters lose 500 ATK/DEF for each Azamina monster you control, comboing well with Ilia Silvia doubling damage when your Azaminas battle. Same HOPT on each remaining effect, first seraching for any Azamina or Sinful Spoils card from the Deck to the hand upon being Fusion Summoned, which makes it even better Hallowed Azamina and the other Spells/Traps that summon these guys treat it as a Fusion Summon. This has become a big piece in Snake-Eye for getting to your Original Sinful Spoils after the Deck has taken hits like Ash and Poplar both going to 1. If not Original Sinful Spoils, you might grab WANTED to get to a Diabellstar so she’s active. Her destruction by battle or card effect also searches any Sinful Spoils Spell, so two ways to search for the targets you’ll likely want. Mu Rcielago is useful for Snake-Eyes and anything else using Sinful Spoils to get to missing pieces to make your plays. It’s been a big boon to Snake-Eyes, and White Forest will eventually use it and all the Azamina stuff when the other support drops. Another card you for sure play with anything Azamina related.

It’s Rciela’s turn for a painful upgrade as Azamina Mu Rcielago, also a level 6 DARK Illusion Fusion monster. Like Azamina Ilia Silvia, it’ll take any Illusion monster and a LIGHT Spellcaster to fuse into it, but until Supreme Darkness, the only practical way is by “cheating” it through The Hallowed Azamina. In yet another lore twist, Rcielago’s stats take the higher numbers of the White Forest Synchro duo, having 2000 attack and 2400 defense– not too shabby this time around.
The stats aren’t the only thing Rcielago borrows– in a nod to Silvera, Rciealgo will drop the stats of your opponent’s monsters by 500 for each Azamina monster you control. This can add up quick, though for now you won’t be seeing more than 1000 often until we get the support in Supreme Darkness, since at best you’ll be fielding Rceialgo and one other Fusion in dedicated builds. Rcielago once again comes with two hard once per turn effects, the first triggering on Fusion Summon to search any Azamina or Sinful Spoils card. It’s a simple but potentially potent search; Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye is a common choice, since the banlist has messed up combo lines and you won’t always have the opportunity to search it with Snake-Eyes Poplar. You can also grab WANTED: Seeker of Sinful Spoils and start your Snake-Eye combo off of Diabellstar the Black Witch instead, leading to a longer but overall stronger combo. Rcielago’s final effect mirrors Silvia’s, searching a Sinful Spoils Spell this time instead of a Trap if it’s destroyed by battle or card effect. Again, not a particularly impactful effect– it’s just nice as follow-up if Rcielago gets quashed by your opponent. The best part about Rcielago is that you don’t necessarily have to give up Silvia either; thanks to The Hallowed Azamina not being once per turn, you can always recycle or search it again to make Silvia later. Rcielago is already a great card, though it’ll achieve its true potential when the Supreme Darkness support arrives; until then, you’ll still be playing at least one copy so you can access stronger plays whenever necessary.
+Able to bridge Snake-Eye, Azamina, and White Forest combos together with a versatile pool of search targets
+Stat drop can be very significant
-Might not be a great option to summon early compared to Azamina Ilia Silvia
-Spell search generally relies on battling or your opponent
