Okay, something in Nova Grappler that actually PLUSSES…certainly for an Accel clan, that struggled to do so in comparison to something like Narukami, Tachikaze and the like, that’s nice. Shame it’s random and whatever you call you have to spend another resource just to get it ready to use on the same turn’s Battle Phase. But given it’s an ACT and thus reusable is pretty neat, even if it’s fairly random what you get. Main problem here is you cannot call a Grade 2 by this effect, so already Black Tortoise, Eclair Dragon and other Typhoon Birds are off the table, and assuming reasonably pure Beast Deities that’s pretty bad, because the only call targets that would be worth it are Illuminal Dragon or any of the Grade 1s and even then Scarlet Bird would have to let you draw for it to be worthwhile.

Nice to see some hard advantage in Nova Grappler, but I wish it could also call Grade 2s and just null on-call skills it has instead.
