This cards position on my list:  #3

Borreload Furious Dragon added to the Borreload theme.  A Level 8, Dark/Dragon Fusion, with Blue Eyes White Dragon attack and defense stats, with a generic enough Fusion requirement of two Dark/Dragon Monsters.  The Trade-off Quick effect to Target a Monster you control and a card your opponent controls for destruction is good.  Sometimes it’s easier/better to destroy your own cards for effects anyway.

Removing BFD from your Graveyard from play lets you Special Summon a Dark, Link Monster from your Graveyard.  Removing one Special Summoned Monster to revive another is a fair effect, and it’s always great to get a Monster back from the Graveyard.  It can’t activate its effect(s) that turn, but you can always use it for other things, if needed.  Another great card for the year on our countdown.

Borreload Furious Dragon cracks the Top 10 at the #10 slot, and is one of the cards I overlooked (apologies Furious Dragon).

Two DARK Dragon monsters is incredibly easy to come by in the meta at the moment. REDMD and Pisty, any Rokket monsters, a plethora of main deck dragons also exist to Fusion Summon this card, all of this make Furious Dragon a candidate for any Extra Deck that plays Super Poly (which is at 3).

1-for-1 destruction on the surface, for Rokket monsters and other monsters that gain advantage off destruction or being sent to the grave it will net you a plus. The 1-for-1 is a Quick Effect, a big plus when compared to other monsters that have this kind of effect (Scrap Dragon) but can’t use it during either turn. Big boss monster stats and support behind it, Furious Dragon can replace itself when it is in the grave, but only if you have a DARK Link Monster in the grave. Borrel and Topologic Link monsters benefit greatly from this card, as well as Xtra HERO Link monsters. Furious Dragon’s best when used with Rokket monsters. You get your +1 in the End Phase of using this effect, you can use the effect of Furious Dragon each turn in response to plays, making this card a disruption threat each turn, heck, you can use Furious Dragon for its own effect just to get to a different DARK Link monster in your graveyard.

We enter the top 10 cards now and we have a great Super Polymerization target against DARK Dragon decks, Borreload Furious Dragon.

BFD is a Level 8 DARK Dragon Fusion with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF. Good stats on a monster of this Level, being DARK and Dragon is also pretty phenomenal. The summoning requirements are any 2 DARK Dragons, which would take me forever to list every good DARK Dragon in the game. Its first effect is a Quick Effect to target 1 monster you control and any card the opponent controls and it destroys both of them. It’s a Quick Effect version of Scrap Dragon only it has to destroy your monsters instead of any of your cards, but that’s fine considering this was made with Rokkets in mind and they want to be destroyed. It is targeting removal, and it destroys, but being a Quick Effect makes up for a lot of the negatives of the removal. You can also banish this card from the graveyard to target a DARK Link in your graveyard and Special Summon it, but its effects cannot be activated that turn. It can at least get back a Link-2 for Link Climbing or a Borrel Dragon for it to mess with the opponent on their turn, so there are options for this to be useful. Both effects are a hard once per turn, which is fair for the destruction effect especially. It’s a good card if you’re playing with DARK Dragons and it’s good if you got a Super Polymerization against DARK Dragon decks.
