Brightest, Blazing, Branded King – #CYAC-EN070
Choose 1 Fusion Monster you control that mentions “Fallen of Albaz” as material, and negate the effects of all other face-up cards currently on the field until the end of this turn. During the End Phase, if a Fusion Monster(s) was sent to your GY this turn: You can add this card from the GY to your hand. You can only use 1 “Brightest, Blazing, Branded King” effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Brightest, Blazing, Branded King shows some good alliteration as well as the good guys final attack (I’m guessing) in their decisive battle.
Normal Trap that needs a Fusion Monster on the field that has “Fallen of Albaz” as a material. Specifics make this card playable only within stuff like Branded Despia, a mixture of the Despia, Branded and Dogmatika archetypes, or something that that. Specifics aside for the moment, BBBK is a board negation of all effects on both sides for the turn. Handy if you are playing many Fusion Monsters and you want another negation card aside from the standard staples you’ll find in many decks. You never like negating cards of your own, but there’s ways to play around this balanced effect.
Albaz-style End Phase effect that will re-add this card to your hand when a Fusion Monster(s) get sent to the grave the turn you activate this card’s grave effect. Since you have to play this alongside Fusion Monsters that involve Fallen of Albaz, you will be getting something most likely when one of his fusion forms hits the grave, making BBBK a +1 of sorts. It is still a trap that your opponent will see coming, and you won’t be able to use it unless you have an Albaz fusion on the field though. This I could see being most useful if you were being held under something like Dark Ruler No More: a blowout turn-style card played against you or if you were going to lose your Fusion Monster and wanted to get something out of it.
Brightest, Blazing, Branded King is a balanced board negation card. You need specifics to activate it, it is a Trap to make it slower than Dark Ruler No More, but it encompasses the whole board which will benefit you the less amount of cards you have face-up, and it has the ability to add itself back to the hand which can allow you to play less copies of it. Decks that play a lot of face-up cards like Eldlich get crippled by something like this, but it can be just as effective against a field of monsters like Kashtira to force extra moves.

Midweek brings us to a new Trap for Branded that helps give blanket negation to the entire board minus whichever boss monster you choose: Brightest, Blazing, Branded King.
Branded King is a Normal Trap that lets you choose any Fusion Monster you control that mentions Fallen of Albaz as material and negate the effects of all other face-up cards currently on the field until the end of the turn. It’s solid as basically a Dark Ruler No More on the opponent’s turn. The main downside is negating your own stuff, minus 1 monster, so I guess you got to choose wisely or time this right after you make use of your monsters and their effects. During the End Phase, if this card is in the graveyard and a Fusion Monster(s) was sent there this turn, you can add this card back to your hand, which is nice recursion for your Trap to have. Only 1 effect a turn and only once that turn, which is how I imagine this would of went most of the time anyways if both effects were a hard once per turn, but it makes sure you can’t just recur it back instantly to keep negating the opponent’s board. It’s a fine Trap for the archetype. Very easy to get to, so a single copy of this could work if you want to try it out.

Perhaps one of the more hyped cards of Cyberstorm Access, Brightest, Blazing, Branded King (which I will henceforth refer to as BBBK) is a Normal Trap and represents Albaz’s final attack, with an effect to match. BBBK has two effects, though you can only activate one per turn once per turn, making it fairly strict in its activations. After being activated, you target a Fusion monster you control that mentions Fallen of Albaz as a Fusion material and negate the effects of all other cards currently on the field until the End Phase, making it a field-wide Dark Ruler No More. While not as lethal as King Calamity or Kali Yuga, BBBK can still wreck your opponent when timed correctly, especially if you’re ending on a monster that still has disruption (that is, Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon). Furthermore, if a Fusion monster was sent to the Graveyard while BBBK is in the Graveyard, you can recycle BBBK back to your hand during the End Phase of that turn. As you can only activate one effect per turn, you won’t realistically be able to cycle BBBK every other turn, though it can come up in longer games. BBBK is a very strong card on paper, but negating your own cards can make it a liability when Branded Despia has better bread and butter combos with an emphasis on grind game; as always, it’s hard to compete with the versatility of Branded in Red into Guardian Chimera, and there are a lot of Quick Effects that would go to waste with BBBK. It’s not a bad card, but it’s not worth it in this meta compared to other Branded plays.
