Pulsar, Transit Dragon
– #G-BT11/045EN
[AUTO](RC):[Put this unit into your soul] At the end of the battle that this unit boosted, if you have a grade 4 vanguard with “Chronojet” in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card.

So while the boss is migrating all of the crap from the old site to this NEW, currently crap-looking site, this is how COTD is going to look. Anyhow, as we have somehow neglected Gear Chronicle the entire time, here’s the week dedicated to them before we blow our loads over G Booster 12. Transit Dragon here is basically a step in the new direction ZTB wants to go in: hand reinforcement combined with some soft advantage. It’s 1:1 basis and useless unless you Stride that turn, but having stuff to guard with for lasting staying power is not unwelcome. And fuck if I can think of any better spare Grade 1s to run. Use only if you’re confident he can be replaced or want to mirage your way out of trouble. Not 4-of but pretty ok. 3/5 |

Let’s wrap up with Gear Chronicle. Transit Dragon is a new G1 for the ZTB enthusiast that provides some nice hard advantage when used. The main trick is to time leap/Split Pegasus into a cluster of these first stride and then just stock up as quickly as possible on cards. From there, you can just play out with a loaded hand. It’s not perfect, as it does rely on your draws being decent, but 2-3 extra cards early on is strong, ask any Luard player. 3/5 |
