week, so lets see what we got...
Monoculus Tiger
Power: 7000
Grade 1
Clan: Great Nature
Race: High Beast
AUTO【V/R】: When this unit attacks a vanguard, choose
another of your «Great Nature» rear-guards, and you may
have that unit get Power +4000 until end of turn. If you
do, at the beginning of your end phase, retire that
unit.
So this is basically a Grade 1 version of Binoculous
Tiger, which is probably one of the best card Great
Nature seem to have. The real question is that can it do
the same justice as its older brother?
Mono Tiger has some extremely solid stats for a Grade
1, and an extremely nice effect to boot. The main issue
with this, however, is that Great Nature already has so
many great options for Grade 1 that some people don't
even have the space for this. Silver Wolf, Hammsuke,
Cable Sheep, Stamp Sea Otter and Coiling Duckbill are
normally used in most people's Grade 1 lineup, but
personally, I always saw Mono Tiger as at least a tech
for some builds depending on the build exactly.
In short, Mono Tiger is a great card, but it's
overshadowed by most of the other Grade 1's in the clan.
