What's up, you guys?! So this week is going to be
Dragon Week, which basically means we're going to take a
look at dragons or dragon-based cards. Let's see what's
first on the agenda...
Seal Dragon, Rinocross
Power: 6000
Grade 1
Clan: Kagero
Race: Flame Dragon
[CONT]: Sentinel (You may only have up to four cards
with "[CONT]: Sentinel" in a deck)
[AUTO]:[Choose a «Kagerō» from your hand, and discard
it] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the
cost. If you do, choose one of your «Kagero» that is
being attacked, and that unit cannot be hit until end of
that battle.
...so basically, we're looking at the new Sentinel
for Kageros in Rinocross. Like all Sentinels, I
personally believe that they are essential for every
deck aside from extremely thorough hybrid decks, but in
retrospect, I'd prefer Rinocross over Barri for 2 main
reasons. The first one is the obvious one, and that's
the fact that it's a Seal Dragon, and anyone who plays
Seal Dragons know exactly how important it is to get
those Especial Counterblasts set, and Rinocross can
provide that unlike Barri. The other reason is a bit
discrete, but I put it on my notes for each card for a
reason, and that's the fact that Rinocross is a Flame
Dragon race while Barri is a Dragonman. Why is this
important? It's simple really. It's because of Flare
Whip Dragon. For those of you that don't know, here's
his skill and stats;
Flare Whip Dragon
Power: 10000
Grade 3
Clan: Kagero
Race: Flame Dragon
[AUTO](VC):When this unit's drive check reveals a «Kagero»
<Flame Dragon>, this unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of
that battle.
As you can see, Flare Whip Dragon requires Flame
Dragons for it to go off, and fortunately, Rinocross and
all of the other Seal Dragons can provide that role
perfectly.
...did I mention that Rinocross is a Sentinel and
automatically should get a perfect score because of it?
Rating: 5/5 (Not to sound...racist...but Rinocross
fits better than Barri.)
Art: 4/5 (Breaking Seals much?)
Next Time: His Spine is SO broken that it breaks others!
Go Rogue...Go Pro!
...and DON'T be a Sackboy!!!
