What's up, you guys?! It's Wednesday and time to look
at more Dragons! Let's see what we have today...
Ancient Dragon, Tyrannolegend
Power: 11000
Grade 3
Clan: Tachikaze
Race: Dinodragon
[AUTO](VC) Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you
have four or more damage):[Choose three of your
rear-guards with "Ancient Dragon" in its card name, and
retire them] When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may
pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets
[Power]+10000/[Critical]+1 until end of that battle.
[ACT](VC):[Counter Blast (2) - Cards with "Ancient
Dragon" in its card name] This unit gets [Power]+5000
until end of turn.
[CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a same
clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)
...Tyrannolegend is basically what Phantom Blaster
Dragon SHOULD'VE been! A constant 11,000 power, and his
main skill being a AUTO instead of a ACT. Making it an
AUTO makes Tyrannolegend all that more unpredictable as
you can decide to use it when your opponent least expect
it. With Phantom Blaster Dragon, however, you can see it
coming as it's before the Battle Phase and can be
prepared for.
Another thing that Tyrannolegend has is the fact that
he's an Ancient Dragon. This can both be a benefit and a
drawback as you can only use his effects with Ancient
Dragon units, but the Ancient Dragon legion is already
pretty solid as is especially with their ace in the
hole: Iguanagorg, but I have a whole report down on that
sucker, so another day.
Tyrannolegend also has a Especial Counterblast that
can give him +5,000 power, but it really shouldn't be
used as you are already using enough Counterblasting on
other cards depending on your build or how much you are
abusing Iguanagorg...like me. XD
In short, Tyrannolegend is the definition of a pure
power card, and while it is possible to stop him, it's
definitely difficult especially when it can go 31,000/3
Critical by himself...
Rating: 4/5
Art: 3/5 (Not really the flashiest of arts, but power
isn't made to be glamorous; it's made to hurt...a
lot...)
Next Time: The forgotten Rex...for good reason...
Go Rogue...Go Pro!
...and DON'T be a Sackboy!!!
