What's up, you guys?! It's Tuesday, and I'm glad to
see that you're taking time off of Call of Duty: Ghosts
to read my Card of the Day! Today, we have...
Blue Flight Dragon, Trans-Core Dragon
Power: 11,000
Grade 3
Clan: Aqua Force
Race: Tear Dragon
[AUTO] Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have
four or more damage):When an «Aqua Force» rides this
unit, choose your vanguard, and until end of turn, that
unit gets [Power]+10000 and "[AUTO](VC):When this unit
attacks a vanguard, your opponent may choose a card from
his or her hand, and discard it. If your he or she does
not, until end of that battle, this unit gets
[Critical]+1, and your opponent cannot call units to
(GC) from hand.".
[AUTO](VC):When this unit attacks a vanguard, this unit
gets [Power]+2000 until end of that battle.
[CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a same
clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)
...the Aqua Force's new Break Ride, and is it a doozy!
Trans-core Dragon itself is already going to be at
13,000 whenever it attacks a Vanguard, so it's already
able to face Crossrides alone without any restrictions
like Spinodriver or other Break Rides. But what really
matters is the Break Ride effect: Whenever a unit would
Break Ride onto this, then the unit gains 10,000 Power
(Pretty basic), and gains the effect where when the
Vanguard attacks that turn, the opponent must discard a
card. If they do, then there's no consequence, but if
they don't then the Vanguard gains a Critical (what?!)
and the opponent isn't even allowed to guard that attack
(WHAT?!). In short, given the right scenario, the
Vanguard can potentially be at 21,000/2 Critical and an
unblockable attack! Given it's a pretty slim chance
seeing how a smart player would at least discard a card
to at least negate the extra Critical, but it's still
probable and possible. Combine that with Glory Maelstrom
or Last Card, Revonn, and the Vanguard attack can be
extremely brutal! There's also another card that goes
incredibly well with this, but I'm going to wait on that
until it comes out and link it with this COTD to show
the incredibly brutal combo!
In short, Trans-core Dragon is an excellent Break
Ride and a very good way to clinch the last turns of the
game.
Rating: 5/5
Art: 4/5 (It's a dragon holding an anchor...I'm not even
going to try and argue this...)
Next Time: How can this be called the Last Card if it's
the first card you draw in the game???
