Dimensional Robo, Daibarret
So now we enter the period known simply as "bugger
all's coming out" so this week we review cards that for
some reason never actually got their own review yet
despite not being clones and being relatively
interesting. At least until it's safe to review BT13
stuff.
So we start with the promo for buying a box of
Mystical Magus, Dimensional Robo, Daibarret. In your
Main Phase, you Counterblast 1 and move him to the soul
to give your Dimensional Robo Vanguard 4k and the
ability to retire a card if it hits the opponent.
So what we have is actually pretty good filler if
you're hard up for better Robos. The ability to grant an
on-hit ability to your Vanguard is definitely a plus in
its favour by
1. Making Daiyusha live so the early guard of -2 at
least nets you an overall +1 with the -1 you incurred
first.
2. If the attack DOES hit, you retire, making it a +0
wash. So either way, as long as you don't use his skill
Late Game where the Vanguard won't ever hit, he can
certainly allow you to catch up in advantage without
having to rely on other sources.
I wouldn't mind using him in the D-Robo build. When
BT13 comes out you'll have better options but for now
he's actually not bad.
