Grateful Catapult
Closing the week is Bushiroad's attempt to make us
forget Dudley Emperor exists, Grateful Catapult. When he
attacks, you CB2 and Persona Blast to call 2 Spike
Brothers from the deck.
So first thing you notice is that he's essentially a
differently costed Dudley Emperor. Pros over Dudley is
that he actually is a true +1 (-1 from Persona Blast, +2
from the 2 new units) and he's 11k. Bad points are that
he doesn't fuel the soul like Dudley, or form 21k
columns unlike Dudley.
But there's still one factor that makes me, and most
other people, prefer Dudley Emperor over Grateful
Catapult. The fact that Dudley Emperor has an easier
time calling units for the Final Turn gambit with Bad
End Dragger. It's true Catapult costs less, but to be
honest, if you didn't have at least 2 cards in your hand
by the time you employ this gambit, you were losing hard
anyway. And at least Emperor can use 2 of anything, not
just 1 specific card. So setting everything equal
(except the 11k power) Dudley still takes it.
Sorry man. Critical thinking has doomed you.
