What's up, Rogue Squad?! For today's Card of the Day,
we're going to be taking a look at a new support card
for the Eradicators:
Eradicator, Lorentz Force Dragon
Power: 9000
Grade 2
Clan: Narukami
Race: Thunder Dragon
[AUTO](RC):[Counter Blast (1)] When your grade 3 unit
with "Eradicator" in its card name is placed on (VC),
you may pay the cost. If you do, your opponent chooses
one of his or her rear-guards, and retires it.
...this card with Ignition Dragon and Gauntlet Buster
Dragon is just hilarious as Lorentz really adds fuel to
the fire so to speak. The only drawbacks that I can
think of is that it's effect can only be used when you
ride into Grade 3 and you have to pay a counter clad m
as you're giving him an extract boost of money. But when
things aren't going well, the main character backed I
over next week.
Overall, A but pricey is kinda so so in my opinion.

Eradicator, Lorentz Force
Dragon
Ah, takes me back to when I
was doing my Physics exams. They weren't fun. But I
digress. This Eradicator has a skill that activates when
you ride a Grade 3 Eradicator, Counterblast 1 and the
opponent picks one of their rear-guards, and retires it.
It's a nice option to have
in absence of anything else. I liked it, but I couldn't
personally find space until I realised that my own
Descendant deck had 6 7k boosters and so it was hardly a
liability. Plus I had Zuitan on the rare occasion he
survived.
Note: It may be tempting to
just put him in the back so he's safe from attacks, but
I don't recommend this. You're sacrificing one column
just for a random and low-quality +1 on the next turn.
You could achieve a similar result by just making a
normal column with him and attacking to force guard. And
if anything, the thought of having him bait your
opponent's attacks when you have an attacker to spare in
hand could actually work out better for you.
He's cool, but he's attack
bait. Although if he can be protected with spare guard,
sure. Just make sure what you spend doesn't outweigh the
profit, that's just stupid.

Eradicator, Lorentz Force Dragon
A toned down version of Dragonic Deathscythe for
Eradicators. The two biggest downsides of this are 1:
you have to have this out before you ride a grade 3.
And 2: you have to hope your opponent will only
attack the vanguard and won't care about the rear
guards, though smart opponents will likely take
advantage of you playing this card and having a couple
rear guards out to begin with or your opponent
attacks/retires/locks rear guards a lot and this guy
won't do anything.
Anyway, I do wish this guy was more pro-active rather
than just pure reactive, but I digress...
If you have this out with Eradicator Ignition Dragon
and you break ride, well, then things just got
interesting...
For a counter blast of 2, you make your opponent
retire 3 rear guards instead of one or two from the
skills of the others individually.
However, it's not the greatest card right now, but it
is nice to see some flexibility for Narukami rather than
just smacking the front row all the time.
