Covert Demonic Dragon,
Kagura Bloome
4th card of the week is
Murakumo's Break Ride, Kagura Bloome. Like before, you
have to pay CB1 to have anything happen, but when you do
ride a new Murakumo Late Game, you get 10k AND two more
copies of your new Vanguard. And then the copies bounce
to your hand at the end of the turn.
Plus points? Murakumo
finally start to make a little more use out of the
cloning gimmick in the form of permanent advantage. Only
Hyakki Vogue can boast that. Two attackers, although
shieldless, suddenly appear.
Downside? Similar problem I
noted in my Magatsu Storm review; the issue with cloning
just your Vanguard is that you'll be spending all game
hoping "gee, I sure hope I don't lose my copies from the
deck!" And you will be thinking that: You obviously need
1 for Break Ride purposes, so assuming you want 2
clones, only 1 copy can be removed from the deck. And by
nature of Late Game, you'll have sped through a fair
amount of deck, giving chance quite some margin to screw
you. And even if you don't, you will need both of your
front row slots to be empty by the time that happens in
order to obtain any meaningful advantage, and assuming
your pressure didn't suck that's not likely.
Obvious card to combo him
with is Hyakki Vogue because of how he works, but
Fantasy Petal Storm, Shirayuki is also excellent.
Shirayuki bounces her clones to her hand with this
combo, so you're essentially adding 2 40k shields to her
hand with this combo which lets you survive for longer.
And if you don't hit the combo, no worries, just sit on
Shirayuki as before and just wait for her Personas to
appear.
Kagura Bloome's okay, if
chance reliant. But far from the best.

Ah yes, Shirayuki's best friend in the whole world.
Even if you have to Break Ride itself, you get two more
copies to the field. Unlike most Murakumo units that
call units to the field, this guy has them return to
your hand rather than the deck at the end of the turn.
Hence why both Shirayuki and Mandela Lord are extremely
happy as they look at this guy. After all, the biggest
problem that Persona Blast cards have is getting another
copy of the card to your hand. This guy makes it so
that you will always have a Shirayuki in hand ready to
go.
This is, to Murakumo what Lord of the Seven Seas,
Nightmist is for Granblue.
Even thought Murakumo isn't the best, this is a powerful
shot to the arm that they needed.
Go on, use this with Murakumo, you won't be
disappointed.
Best part is, if you do break ride with Shirayuki,
Daikaiser and any Glory Maelstrom clone can't stop the
skill.
