Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Buster
And number 8 is the main ace of the new Narukami deck,
the Brawlers. Now this here unit is actually a Crossride
for another Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Dragon, but let's
put that aside for now and move on.
He legions with Brawler, Big Bang Slash Buster, and
after all that? When in Legion, his ACT skill cost one
Counterblast and a Big Bang Knuckle unit from the hand
into the soul, and he attacks 4 units at once. A
Vermillion on crack.
RULING: If you can't attack exactly 4, by the rules of
"do as much as possible", you attack everything, except
a Legion Mate, who cannot be selected as an attack
target.
This is actually really nice. Cost wise, it's a -1 from
the hand and CB1 for a potential +3 (because who'd use
this guy to NOT attack the Vanguard?) CB1 for an overall
+2. That's pretty cheap. What's holding him back is the
fact that there is at best 7 units to fuel the cost with
(one got ridden, there's only 7 Big Bang Knuckles left,
duh), but as the game goes on and the amount of cards
you dig through increases, it's really not that much of
a problem. If your hand is arranged as you would a
normal Crossride deck and you shoot for him and the base
form in the hand from the start, you can pretty much be
live in an instant.
Big Bang Knuckle Buster needs a fast game, all game, if
you want his skill to really hit home. All it takes is
one decently big hand, and you could be screwed later.
But he's a good way to nuke a field, if only once. And a
nice potential bulk doesn't hurt either.

Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Buster
And Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion's ghost is in the corner
crying.
What the heck?! A Legion with the Cross-ride
Defense? ...Sheesh! That's just stupid!
Bushi! You're being stupid! Stop being
stupid!
...Okay, I think I've channeled enough Freeza from DBZ
Abridged now.
Anyway, this is a Type-2 Legion that, when it attacks,
you can counterblast one, put a Big Bang Knuckle... oh,
like Big Bang Knuckle Dragon, to give it another +2000,
so potentially 22000 on your turn and 13000 on your
opponent's turn. That's neat. Sorry, what's
the effect again?
...Attack FOUR units at once?!
The last time we saw something like that, it was
Excupulate the Blaster, but this is actually GOOD!
Naoki, I salute you, this is a heck of a finishing blow
you came up with.
Bottom line, running Brawlers? Here's your boss.
Have fun, kids!
