What's up, Rogue Squad?! So for this week's cards are
all...darker...units with the exception of this
one...which ironically is a post-Reverse unit!
So...let's see if she improved from her cleansing:
Maiden of Venus Trap, Muse
Power: 11000
Grade 3
Clan: Neo Nectar
Race: Bioroid
[AUTO](VC) Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you
have four or more damage):[Counter Blast (1)] When this
unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you
do, look at up to five cards from the top of your deck,
search for up to one card with the same name as a «Neo
Nectar» on your (VC) or (RC) from among them, call it to
(RC), and shuffle your deck.
[ACT](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] This unit gets
[Power]+2000 until end of turn.
[CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a same
clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)
...while it's not the worst boss card in the Neo
Nectar clan, it's certainly no Sephirot or Cecilia. Muse
at first glance seems like a pretty good card;
Counterblast one to peek at 5 and call a unit...until
you read a bit closer and see that you're only allowed
to call a unit that is the same name as a unit on the
field...annnnnnd there goes her potential to being at
least decent. The fact that it makes it so that you can
only have, at best, 2-3 actual targets means that it's a
VERY restrictive card to use, so her Limit
Break...ironically, is very limited to targets.
Muse should only be used in a fun deck, but aside
from that, stick with Arboros Dragon or Musketeers as
higher level decks.

And now it's time for the other side of BT14's coin.
Also a belated hi to the new guy I suppose. I'll be
using this week to observe his prowess.
Starting of BT14's Re-basu week...we have a unit that
isn't a Reverse at all. Psyche. Maiden of Venus Trap
Muse is a Limit Break as usual, that on attack, for CB1
lets you look at the to 5 cards of your deck, call one
of them, and shuffle the rest back. And another ACT
ability that grants 2k for Counterblast 1.
Eh, it's a cute play, but as usual a consistent field
and nothing else just don't cut it no more. Venus does
little to actually murder an opponent and only aids in a
screwed field.She doesn't even compensate for this with
more power.
Muse is hopeless. Get her as an exclusive promo but hold
off on using her.

Maiden of Venus Trap Muse, huh?
This is the card you got with the sneak peek, I'm going
to admit, I don't play Neo Nectar, so I might not have
the best reviews for this card.
The first skill isn't really that impressive, just a
+2000 power for the turn and, of course, the Lord
effect.
The Limit Break is, of course, what makes or breaks
cards like this. For a single Counterblast when your
vanguard attacks you can look at the top five cards for
a Neo Nectar that you already have in play and call it
to R.
In theory, you could use this to get four attacks off,
but, all things considered, your best bet is to get
another copy of Trap Muse or another 11000 Grade 3 that
can attack, anything else, unless you have a booster
that hasn't been used yet, can't hit the vanguard.
Sorry, Neo Nectar, but this boss just... Doesn't seem
that great to me.
