Blue Storm Cadet, Marios   4th card of the week is Blue Storm's newest starter, Marios. When he boosts the third attack and it hits, you check the top 5 cards of your deck for a Maelstrom card, add it to the hand, and shuffle the other 4 back in the deck. Oh, and it costs nothing extra.   Neat, I suppose, but Marios is no Morgenrot. He only has about 8 targets compared to Morgenrot, and while admittedly free, Marios requires that your Vanguard attacks third, so you'll have to assume you have two attackers ready to go (or a re-stander like Tidal Assault) in order to net anything. Otherwise, the only time when he can be expected to go live is on Grade 3, before the opponent's on 4 damage, and that you have two attackers, or one double attacker. Any later, and the opponent will drop the guard in his face because Critical triggers exist.   Admittedly, if a deck can set up Dorothea easily enough there's no reason it can't be done for Marios, but it's already a crapshoot and only gets worse as time goes on. He's okay, but I wish he could have been a little better.   2/5

Blue Storm Cadet, Marios   Oh hey, Maelstrom support.  It's pretty simple, if the attack is the 3rd or higher, search the top 5 for a Maelstrom and add it to the hand.  It's a reusable Grade 3 searcher, which is very nice.  Early game, mid-game, late-game?  Doesn't matter, just search for a Maelstrom if the attack hits that this boosted.   Not much to say, it's a very good unit and pretty annoying to deal with, but that's what Aqua Force is at times.   Rating: 3/5
