Ideal Walking Weather, Emilia
Oh yeah, there's this too. Emilia is basically Girl's
Rock Rio except 1000 power stronger, and GB1 restricted.
Basically, when bounced, CB1 and draw a card. Oh, and
she has Resist.
Readers of my Monday Article will probably have been
wondering why I didn't include Emilia in my final build.
Well, it was largely because Lauris was the only
reliable bouncer. There was also Olyvia, but she was
pretty late to the party when I've already spent the
Counterblast on Lauris and Spica. Until then, she's
basically going to be constantly attacked by the
opponent because they don't want her on the field.
Unless you put her in the back row, in which case you're
wasting 1 attack and a chance to force guard or inflict
a damage for a +1 (not attacking saves the opponent a
card so it works out as a +0 wash, and damage tends to
be more valuable than cards so it doesn't really work
out). In the end, the number of liberties I had to make
to even USE Emilia meant I quickly lost patience with
her, so I dropped here in favour of another Harmony
starter. It's not like old Bermudas when Rio and her ilk
were the only spenders of Counterblast; she's competing
for space.
Not to say she's bad, however. But she isn't going to go
off very often in the deck she's meant to go in.

And we end the week on a Grade 2. Oh well.
Anyway, Emilia here, at GB1, when bounced to the hand
from R lets you CB1 and draw a card, plus she has
resist.
Nice, simple, effective.
She's one of the key cards of the deck, as far as I can
tell, so, use her if you get her.
Rating: 3.75/5
See you next week, folks.
