Perdition Dragon, Pain Laser Dragon

If you really hate using Dragonic Neoflame for obvious reasons, then this is the backup plan. Or maybe the go-to plan for Perdition Dragons lacking The Great. Pain Laser Dragon legions with Menace Laser Dragon, and upon doing so, you Counterblast 1 to pick a unit and retire all units in the same column. Normal skill is to Soulblast 1 on attack to give itself 3k until end of battle.

Cost's decent enough. I won't say no to a +2 for CB1, certainly. I'd consider myself lucky to CB1 for a +1 so this is actually pretty cheap. Obviously that's where it stops and will never go further than this afterwards, but at least unlike Vortex Dragonewt, you know what's going to happen.

Problem is, I wouldn't say The Great's bad enough to not replace Pain Laser. The Great's most likely the priority ride and as fail-con aces go, I'd say Dragonewt actually would work out as a little cheaper in terms of cost and can at least repeat itself if the need arises.

Pain Laser isn't horrible though. If you can't be arsed to fork out for Dragonewt, this isn't a bad cheaper alternative.

Well, this is one I think that should have been a RR, not a RRR for the English release.  It made more sense in the Japanese version, seeing as there was only this and Vortex Dragonewt.

Anyway, Pain Laser legions with Menace Laser, which, is a really good unit.  It's a new Berserk Dragon.  A bit more limited and linear though, but when you call Menace Laser to R, if you have a Perdition Vanguard, CB1 to retire any unit that's straight across from it.  Kind of like Tejas being able to attack boosters that are right in front of it, but Menace Laser kills things right in front of it.

In fact, most of the Perditions work in this regard.  They do a LOT of rear-guard retiring, however, it's generally what's in a straight line in front of them, they don't kill flexibly like Berserk Dragon or Dragonic Burnout can.

Anyway, back to Pain Laser Dragon here, a type-1 Legion that can SB1 to gain 3000 power when attacking the Vanguard.  Which is nice, since it sets up the drop zone easier than most Legions do.  When you Legion with this guy, CB1 and retire an entire line of rear guards your opponent has.  That, of course, includes your opponent's Vanguard's booster, but that's a bit of a waste of the skill, I think.

Some people might not think that's such a good thing, but then, remember the following cards exist in various decks...

Commander Laurel
Liberator, Bruno
Limit Break Enablers
Judgebau Revenger
Dimensional Robo, Goyusha
Lizard Soldier, Fargo
Cat Butler
Star-vader, Volt Line
Star-vader, Lanthanum
Star-vader, Mayoron

Oh, hey, getting rid of those pets, plus more, is never a bad thing, I think.

If not for tomorrow's card, this would be a solid #2 card in Perditions.  Tomorrow's card though...  Yeah.
