Shura Stealth Dragon,
Mandoracongo
I think Nanya suggested
this and I'd like to take this opportunity to remind him
that's not a Stealth Beast, as the email I got said,
it's a Stealth Dragon. Unless Bill caught the mistake
and fixed it first.
So anyway, this is
Nubatama's Legion option. By Legioning with Daranicongo,
it gains the ability to temporarily bind 2 cards in the
opponent's hand and one on their field by
counterblasting 1 and discarding a unit from your hand
that has the same name as one of your vanguards. Oh, and
he gains 3k when he attacks and someone else is
occupying his column.
...Yeah, this is why I said
Nubatama are this close to being awesome but are held
back by their suck units. Firstly, it's difficult to
spring, as pseudo Persona Blasters are, but not only
that, it's not really good for very much apart from the
very end of the game when you want to screw as much
guard as possible by then and make that 6th damage
happen, which runs contrary to Legion being supposed to
be used in the middle. The Legion Mate can probably aid
in making this temporary loss permanent, as can your
starter Kuroko, but to be honest Vortex Dragonewt costs
a similar payment and for an extra Counterblast retires
2 things that AREN'T random and inflicts a damage. A
better way to play, in my mind.
It has merits compared to
the entirely restricted to Late-Game Kabukicongo, but
for now Nubatama is still a bit shy of the top dogs of
today and tomorrow.

Shura Stealth Beast, Mandoracongo
Hey, a Nubatama Legion! What are the odds? If you buy
the Royal Paladin trial deck, this is what you get from
it. This unit legions with Shura Stealth Dragon,
Daranicongo. Which is what Nubatama needed after all
this time, but we'll get into that in a bit. First,
Mandoracongo here.
This has the typical when attacking with another unit
in the center line, +3000 power boost, nothing special
there.
But that Type-2 Legion skill... It's almost like
Kabukicongo and Kujikiricongo had a child and this is
the result. CB1 to Persona Blast while in Legion to make
your opponent, if they have four or more cards in hand,
bind two cards face down and then bind one of their
rear-guards face-up. At the end of the turn the units
bound by this go back to the hand.
That's... Pretty good, definitely flows with what
Nubatama do. This is the point where someone makes a
comparison to other legions from other clans to make a
comparison that's like comparing bananas to snakes or
some such.
Anyway, let's look at the Legion mate, and the whole
reason Nubatama players are happy as a clam right now.
While Daranicongo only works if your vanguard is in
Legion, the fact that Daranicongo has the same effect as
Kuroko is a very welcome thing for Nubatama players.
See, if Kuroko got nuked or locked, then Nubatama lost a
lot of what it could do outside of the BT-01 cards that
forced discards. Daranicongo is an 11K attacker, if your
vanguard is in Legion, that can send units from the bind
zone to the drop zone.
All I can say is, if you're running Nubatama, these
two are making you very happy right now.
