Bloody Ogle
Oh look a unit not sticking to the Blue theme! Well,
whatever. Here we have the new unit people seem to want
to combine Bad End motherfucking Dragger with. He
Legions with Frozen Ogle, and for the turn you Legion,
all attacking rear-guards gain 5k power at the cost of
returning to the deck afterwards. Normal skill is a
walking Dudley Dan; on attack, pay 2 Counterblast and a
card in hand to the soul to summon any unit from the
deck.
And this is why people want to combine this with
Dragger. Let's examine it on its own merits alone first,
shall we? 5k at the cost of returning to the deck sound
like a heavy penalty. Except it's really not because
Spike Brothers already return to the deck after gaining
power so it's pretty redundant (see Juggernaut
Maximum/High Speed Brakki etc). But rather notably, it
means that you don't even need to have units that tag
out necessarily because anything bounces back after
attacking now.
Normal skills's pretty ordinary, but it's better than
nothing for something not LB bound or restricted to
Legion. But it makes for hilarious combos with this over
Dragger. Imagine it. Frozen Ogle into Frozen Ogle into
Dudley Mason/Emerald Blaze. Then this into Juggernaut
Maximum...that's 15k to every attacking unit with the
Break Ride, keep in mind.
If you need to use a Legion Spike Brothers deck today,
make it this one. He's got Dudely Emperor Syndrome in
that he's not THAT impressive alone, but he's got a sick
combo to make him shine.

Bloody Ogle
...Ogre, not Ogle. Urgh, seriously, even the
species is Ogre, how the bloody heck did Bushiroad screw
THAT translation up?!
...Then again, I guess it's no different than Blaster
Blade Seeker being a Shadow Paladin in one of his Legion
Rares.
Anyway, this is a Type-1 Legion that, on the turn you
Legion, all your rear guards that attack get +5000 and
then put themselves to the bottom of the deck.
The non-Legion skill is to Counter Blast 2, put one card
from your hand into your soul and superior call one unit
from the deck.
And here we have the single most luck-sack Legion in the
game. Dang near on par with CEO Yggy in terms of
how absurdly stupid this card can be.
Oh, sure, by itself it's nothing special, but...
Okay, first, the Legion Mate. When it attacks, if
your vanguard went Legion that turn, you can CB1, put it
into the Soul and superior call one unit from the deck.
Now that we got that out of the way, let me introduce
you to the Infinite Blitz that Spike Brothers have.
Remember Infinite Hell? Well, this is many times
more powerful and more deadly.
Normally using a Break Ride and a Legion in the same
deck isn't a great idea.
The key word is... Normally.
Bad End Dragger + Bloody Ogre means that each of your
rear guards that attacks gets a power boost of +15000.
Yes, let that sink in for a few minutes.
The mate is 9000, with the Break Ride and Legion skill,
it attacks for 24000, you can CB1 to send it to the soul
and call ANOTHER Frozen Ogre to play and attack again,
and again, and again.
And if you had any units in play before you attacked,
well.. It gets stupid.
I mean, really, even triggers swing for 20000 thanks to
that.
If you get the Break Ride with the Legion, you're going
to have, at minimum, six attacks with +15000 power on
each of them. Even more if you go old-school and
use Sky Diver to call units from your hand.
Don't get me wrong, this deck is an all-or-nothing deck.
You either win hard or you fail spectacularly, but if it
goes off, it's going to win way more than it will lose.

Legion Rating: 4/5 (Can't give it a perfect one because
if it fails, you lose badly) |
