Great Nature's secondary Stride option is what Magmarmr
is. When you've Stridden already, you CB1 and G Persona
Blast to give two rear-guards 4k power and the ability
to seal G1 or above guard from the hand. Oh, and a
rarity for Great Nature; the units that power up DON'T
die at the end of the turn.
I think it would have been more relevant (but probably
more OP) if it sealed Grade 0 guard. I mean, it's not
really providing me much incentive to change my overall
guarding strategy for each column; I drop the PGs I
can't use on the Vanguard, then use Grade 0s and
intercept for the rest. That's something I would have
done anyway for a normal Vanguard; I'm not likely to
waste a PG on a rear-guard unless it's actually got a
threatening skill.
I guess it's possible to dick an opponent over, but only
if your field is arranged just so so that on-attack
power givers can grant enough to a column to force more
unnecessary guard out, but I wouldn't actively count on
it.
It's not really that bad, but I'd rather take a more
certain game-ender since it relies on a perfect field to
function properly.

This, plus Silent Tom in Extreme Fight, is broken.
Good thing that Great Nature doesn't have any Silent Tom
clones, because it makes all your rear guards Glory
Maelstrom clones.
Best part is, it doesn't retire the unit that it pumps
up. Only downside is, well, no other on-hit
pressure, though it is a nice way to end the game
quickly.
Now if only there was a way to give rear-guards some
on-hit pressure too...
