Dragonic Blademaster
Here we go, something a little meatier in substance.
Dragonic Blademaster is our Stride vessel a la Chronojet
and similar. On Stride, you Counterbast 1 to retire an
enemy rear-guard, and as his Generation Break 2 skill?
5k and a Critical during your turn, and you have more
rear-guards than the opponent.
Generation Break? Too slow, and doesn't even have
anything decent to make it not as slow as a LB-based
Crit gaining skill. Not even Root Flare can give us
anything meaningful beyond 2 face-up G-units. However,
it's the second skill you want him for, and to be
honest, it isn't really all that bad. A tad ordinary,
but the capacity to retire anything problematic
basically forever is always appreciated.
I use him as by backup in my own The X build simply
because of synergy with Stride. I guess he could
possibly swing an entire deck alone, but you'd have to
be VERY dedicated to that train of thought.

Dragonic Blademaster
So, of course Kagero would join the likes of Royal
Paladins, Gear Chronicles, Neo Nectars and Oracles and
get a "Break Stride" unit.
Apparently Blademaster here was the leader of an advance
invasion force and nearly managed to conquer the United
Sanctuary before Gablade was brought forth in time and
stopped him.
Pretty neat.
Anyway, when you Stride and this guy's in the Heart, you
CB1 to retire any of your opponent's rear guards.
Simple, quick and clean for taking out rear guards.
Nice. Combined with the Kagero Strides that love
to just blow up rear guards, this is a very solid boss
for Kagero going forward.
...Ooooor at least it WOULD have been, had The X and The
Great not existed.
Sorry, Blademaster, you're much like many Genesis
bosses, over-shadowed by your far superior options.
While Blademaster is decently okay, it's just so far
out-classed by the two Overlord Legions that it's not
funny. Plus Menace+Pain Laser and Vortex
Dragonnewt for Perditions is better too.
