Unless Trixie can break the TR stalemate, Naya and I are
just going to keep going and see who'll run out of ideas
for reviews first. Okay, lucky for me, there are promos
we haven't touched so let's get on it. Bellog's GB1
ability activates when it's put on Guardian Circle when
the Vanguard is attacked. After the battle, if the
attack didn't hit, retire a rested enemy rear-guard.
...To be honest, this isn't really as good as people
made him out to be. For starter's, he's only 5k shield,
so to stave off a normal column you'll have to thrown in
another 5k to make numbers, and unless you can spare the
hand you'd rather throw away one 10k shield so hand is
saved for Perfect Guard fuel. (Please don't use Draw
Triggers specifically for this purpose). And even if the
opponent can attack the Vanguard un-boosted, why would
they? If they know the attack's easy to block either
way, they'll spend that attack sniping a Grade 2, and
since Bellog doesn't work unless the Vanguard is
attacked, it's easy to avoid.
Bellog is unwieldy and his low power doesn't help
matters either. You're better of just killing problems
when it's your turn.

Everyone enjoy their Thanksgiving weekend? I know
I did.
Bellog here is a new Kagero defensive unit that has a
really neat GB1 skill. When put on the GC, if the
opponent's attack fails to hit, you get to auto-retire
any rested rear-guard your opponent has.
Neat, get rid of any booster you want that's been used,
or an interceptor for your next turn, or what have you.
Only downside is that you can't use it to weaken or
prevent an attack that hasn't happened yet.
Though I suppose that would be WAY too broken if it
could do that.
Only two downsides to this. One, it's a grade 1,
which means any of the numerous Glory Clones running
around laugh at it and two, well, where's the space in
your deck for it?
Sadly, like all Grade 1 tech cards, it has that same
problem, just what do you remove for it?
Why do you all think that Grade 0s are getting more and
more skills these days?
