Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord "The Ace" Cos you know I'm all about that Ace, Dragon Ace, no rear-guards I'm all about that Ace, Dragon Ace, no rear-guards...   So ending the year is the end-the-game-here card for Kagero decks that matter, Dragonic Overlord "The Ace". With an actual PROPER re-review. You may remember this from my last review in June. So I'm not going to bore you with the same overview again.   So instead I'm going to say this: I was wrong. 4 of this guy is boss. What I tend to see are people who swear by Root Flare at 4, whereas I never saw the need for that many. Zahm should have already bombed the field enough, as long as you run Burnout, Twilight Arrow and in my case Blademaster to start off the retire chain, and so I found that it was better to run 2 chances of sealing a game then and there. I have never encountered a game where I needed to go into Root Flare a second time and so I dropped 2 of them.   You only run that many Root Flare because you tend to lack the choices to pull off a good Zahm bomb. This will get you out of more pinches.   3.5/5

And our #1 for the year is The Ace.   Kind of fitting, our #11 was Victoplasma, so, a neat book-end for this.   To be fair, I think that this got here simply because both Saikyo and I are biased pricks towards Kagero and against other clans.   Only reason this is here is because 1: It's Kagero and 2: It's Overlord   No other reason, really.   Rating: 5/5   See you next year, folks!
