Black Shiver, Gavrail
Angels and Nordic Thingies Week today. But anyway, here
we have our Stride vessel, Black Shiver, Gavrail. Her
GB2 ability is to give the ENTIRE front-row 2k whenever
a card is placed in your damage zone. As for her Stride
skill, CB1 to look at the top 3 cards of your deck, put
one in the damage zone, put the rest at the bottom of
your deck, call a face-up unit from your damage zone,
and give it 2k until the end of the turn.
So first of, the GB2 is mostly going to be used for
defence, since unless you can milk Refros several times
on your turn generally won't amount to anything decently
offensive. Not impossible though if your deck toolboxes
like nuts. So really, what you want her for is the
Stride skill. Puts important cards like Medical Bomber
Nurse as well as anything you want to fetch with Azrael
into the damage and nets a +1 for CB1. Nothing too much
to ask for.
If you think you can use her GB2 decently enough there's
always Blizza, I suppose. Apart from that, like most
Stride vessels, she's competent enough.

Black Shiver, Gavrial
It's United Sanctuary Week. Well, to be more
precise, it would be Angel Feather week, but they only
have three cards worth reviewing, so we had to add a
couple more to make a full week.
Anywho, Gavrial is the Break-Stride of G-era Angel
Feathers, and, from what I've seen of them, they're not
bad, way better than before.
Then again, that seems to be a trend. The old
clans that were no good got a lot better with the G-era
stuff.
So, Gavrial here, at GB2, gives all front-line units
+2000 power whenever a card is put into the damage zone.
And, much like the other Angel Feathers before her, that
counts both turns. So if a trigger gets damaged
checked, she'll increase by 7000 and the rear guards by
2000. Very useful, actually.
When you stride with her as the Heart, CB1, look at the
top three cards of your deck, put one into your damage
zone and then call one to a rear-guard circle and it
gets +2000 power until end of turn.
I'm reminded of Circular Saw, Kiriel from BT06, save
that the card you place there is face up and not face
down.
So, new Kiriel-turbo? And, yes, that was a deck
back then.
According to the lore, she was a terrifying force on the
battlefield and was forced to surrender when rebels took
over a hospital that she was protecting.
...My mind goes to dark places with information like
this. I'm hoping I'm wrong.
So, is it good? I think it is, especially with
tomorrow's card.
If only we could run eight copies of a card in Vanguard.
