[AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1 (This ability is active if you have one or more face up G units in total on your (VC) or G zone):[Counter Blast (1)] When this unit attacks a vanguard, if this unit is boosted, you may pay the cost. Unappeasable Biter, Gleipnir
Fucking stupidest translated name ever.
Insatiable Devourer Gleipnir (as he should have been
called because it sounds more fucking rad) is, like
Harut, a GB1 on attacking the VG boosted unit. This guy
can Soulcharge 3, and then if you performed a soulblast
on the same turn, draws a card.
So this is basically your main method of obtaining soul
for the Fenrir shenanigans or for 2 uses of Vanargandr,
because honestly, Fenrir alone generates the soul he
needs for everything already through his own Stride
skill, so he's mostly going to be here for the +1. Just
be thankful Dreaming Dragon exists to make the deck
rightly sized again or else his usefulness would be
relegated to anything not able to hoard soul as easily
like Regalia.
Redundant in the soul department as far as Fenrir is
concerned but actually pretty useful everywhere else.

Unappeasable Biter, Gleipnir
So, my week was screwed up and I thought Harut was
Wednesday, not Tuesday, that's why I didn't review Harut.
Sad.
Anyway, Gleipnir here is the Genesis GBCBX, so what does
this one do?
For the GBCBX, SC3 and then draw a card if a unit was
soul blasted that turn.
Hmm, seems simple enough, really. It's pretty
decent, but with the amount of Soul Charging Genesis can
do, do they really need draw power?
...Well, let me put it this way, if you're running
Genesis, you're probably running Yggy and Minerva, and
they already have their supports, and I just don't think
that there's a lot of room for this.
Sadly, it's a case of "overshadowed by awesome".
Don't get me wrong, the G-era Genesis might be pretty
awesome, from what I've heard, it does very well, it's
just...
Yggdrasil and Minerva exist.
Much like how any Kagero boss is over-shadowed by
anything Overlord, any sort of support or boss for
Genesis lives in the shadows of those two Genesis units.
So, it might be good, but considering what it has to
compete against, hard to say.
