Poison Spear Mutant Deity, Paraspear
Oh god why is this a thing. Paraspear is pretty much the
free +1 for no cost at all card. On appearing, he rests
all the enemy units, and then if the opponent has 3 or
more rested units, draw a card, and Paraspear gains 5k.
What the hell. A first Stride that is basically a
guaranteed +1 on Stride. I ask you, is that fair? The
Vanguard and two enemy rear-guards are all you need to
essentially make cards like Kirin and Mahmud and similar
wish they could do the same.
The go-to Stride for the stuck Stun Beetle user or
anyone not quite wanting to use Machining Destroyer yet.
Staple in Megacolony and I hate it.

Poison Spear Mutant Deity, Paraspear
...That's a mouthful.
Anyway, Paraspear here, when placed on V rests all of
your opponent's rear guards, if there were any still
standing, then draws a card and gets +5000 for the turn
if there's three or more that are resting.
Oh gee, combine this with yesterday's card to do naughty
things.
Quick, simple, efficient, I like it.
