Supremacy Black Dragon, Aurageyser Doomed

Aurageyser Damned is still the better name.

But anyway, Aurageyser 2.0's ACT skill flips a copy of Aurageyser Dragon face-up in the G-Zone and murders 3 allies to add the top 2 cards of the deck to the hand. For every G1 or below unit added, it retires an opponent's rear-guard, and then if you have 3 face-up Aurageyser Dragons, he gains +1 Critical.

So it gains Critical and murders enemies. So of course, it's going to have to be directly compared to Phantom Blaster Diablo. You are generally wanting to use Aurageyser at least once for the most mileage so they'll have similar timings being a second Stride.

Odds are it'll either wash your advantage or get you to plus, assuming you sack the full 3 cards, with the the wash having slightly better odds. Breaking it down:

If Claret's the VG and you use the Stride skill and Doomed, you CB2 to +0-2 (+1 average), whereas Diablo is CB2 to +0. If Blaster Dark Diablo's the VG, Doomed is a CB1 to -1, +0 or +1. DDPBD is a +1 for the same cost.

Having said that, Claret's faction has the way better support thanks to new tricks like Darkpride Dragon aiding in washing advantage to make this go further apart from David, whereas Diablo really only has Charon to get the ball rolling excluding David.

Doomed works best in a Claret deck because outside that, he's not really all that efficient. Not to say he's bad though.

Supremacy Black Dragon, Aurageyser Doomed

...The original name was Aurageyser Damned

I guess it's no different than turning Genocide Jack into Brutal Jack.

But why did the Death Army brigade get to keep their name?  Bah!

Remember when I said that Aurageyser Dragon had some sort of new form back when I reviewed it?  Well, this is it.

CB1, flip up an Aurageyser Dragon, retire 3 rear guards, which gives us more use for both David and Charon (if you have a Blaster as your Vanguard for Charon), to check the top two cards, if you get two grade 1 or lower units, bust up two of your opponent's rear guards and if you have 3 or more face-up Aurageyser Dragons, this gets +1 crit.

*Insert Vanguards gaining crits sucking here*

Oh, yeah, you add the units that revealed into your hand, regardless what grade they are.

In effect, it's a nice way to fill your hand up.  Sadly, the effect is really random, much like the original version, though that only had to kill two rear guards and pumped himself up by 5000 for each grade 1 or lower revealed by his skill.

Overall, I shrug my shoulders, I can't say that this is worth it, TBH, especially since Phantom Blaster Diablo exists and that's a LOT better than most other strides.
