Dark Superhuman, Pretty Cat
So the boss is back from his expedition to hunt and kill
a narwhal (I can only assume that is what happened) and
we're back today to start reviewing again. We start with
Dark Superhuman, Pretty Cat. As an ACT skill, once per
turn if her power is 34000 or greater, you CB1 to lower
the enemy Vanguard's power by 5k until end of the turn.
I'm not going to lie. It's not exactly brilliant. I
guess she does cost a bit less than Omega, except with
less potential to drain an opponent of 10k+ power, but
if you have a Grandchopper and other Main Phase-based
Cosmic Heroes to use, you'd probably be using it for the
other G-Units under your control. At least she works as
a first Stride, but she isn't a 4-of.
A good way to open up your GB1 skills but is largely not
that important for anything else afterwards.

Dark Superhuman, Pretty Cat
Everyone enjoy the long weekend?
Anyway, Catgirl boo, err, Pretty Cat here is a D Police
Stride that works similar to Zeal, CB1 at 34000 or
greater and then give your opponent's Vanguard -5000
till the end of the turn.
Which isn't hard to do, you just need two 4000 power
boosts, which is fairly easy for D Police to muster up
to get this effect off.
Sadly, I'm not really sure that it's worth it, maybe if
this had a built-in Draw or retire or some other ability
to go along with its -5000, then it would be worth it.
D Police just have better Strides in general, that's
all.

Today's card is quite a change of
pace from the usual cards Robots and Kaijus in DP. as an
ACT, when Pretty Cat has 34k+ power, CB1 to lower the
opponent's VG power by 5000. Basically the equivalent of
giving +5k to your front how.
It seems ok at first glance, but
then you'll find she's not. despite her having a
Zeal-like skill, Zeal doesn't really run any sort of VG
power gainers, so you'd have to run cards that don't fit
with the other aspects of the deck. And even those VG
power giving cards are pretty mediocre. The best option,
Grandfire, only works during the battle phase, so it's
incompatible. The other options, Grandwagon and Mist
Ghost (or Daimagum or someone, but he's a minus so I
would save him for something stronger like powering up
Sin Buster) both cost a CB, and so the amount you would
have to pay overall would be too much for what the
skill's worth, especially because it's not easy to
garner a full field in DP. You would have to use these
in conjunction with Grandgallop to get the 34k power
more reliably, and he would rather Stride into X-tiger
or X-falcon.
Overall,OK concept ruined by lack
of support.

Art: 3/5 Looks like a circus
performer?
Card Design: 2/5 It tries to
combine both types of DP gimmicks, which doesn't work.
